Dr. No

Bond. James Bond. Dr. No was the first of the Bond movies, produced in 1962 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Terence Young and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. It stars Sean Connery as Agent 007, Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder, John Kitzmuller as Quarrel, Jack Lord as Felix Leiter, Joseph Wiseman as Dr. No, and Anthony Dawson as No's sidekick, Professor Dent.

James Bond goes to Jamaica in order to investigate the death of a fellow operative. He soon finds himself in a tangle between the operative's death, a string of failures for the US Space Program, and the infamous Dr. No.

From Russia With Love

Connery and Bianchi From Russia With Love was produced in 1963 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Terence Young and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. It starred Sean Connery as Bond, Daniela Bianchi as Tatiana Romanova, Pedro Armendariz as Kerim Bey, Anthony Dawson as Blofeld, Eric Pohlman as SPECTRE, and Lotte Lenya, Vladek Sheybal, and Robert Shaw as the henchmen Rosa Klebb, Kronsteen, and Red Grant respectively.

In this movie, the organization known as SPECTRE is introduced. SPECTRE wants revenge for the death of Dr. No and thus sets a trap for James Bond in order to kill him. Bond has a mission to retrieve a Soviet encryption machine called the Lektor. This is actually the bait SPECTRE has set for Bond.

Goldfinger

Goldfinger was produced in 1964 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Guy Hamilton and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. It starred Sean Connery as Bond, Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore, Cec Linder as Felix Leiter, Gert Frobe as Auric Goldfinger, and Harold Sakata as Oddjob.

The movie starts with the Bank of England discovering that there is a large amount of gold being stockpiled. The suspected individual is Auric Goldfinger. Bond is sent to investigate and discovers Goldfinger's intentions to pull the crime of the century and leave the West in economic ruin.

Thunderball

Bond and the Babe Thunderball was made in 1965 by Eon. It was directed by Terence Young and produced by Kevin McClory. It starred Sean Connery as Bond, Claudine Auger as Domino Derval, Rik Van Nutter as Felix Leiter, Martine Beswick as Paula Caplan, Adolfo Celi as Emilio Largo of SPECTRE, and Luciana Paluzzi and Philip Locke as Fiona Volpe and Vargas respectively.

SPECTRE has hijacked a British Vulcan bomber armed with two nuclear bombs and holds NATO for ransom for $100,000,000. The British send all their "00" agents, including James Bond, to reaquire the warheads from SPECTRE before it can detonate the bombs on the United Kingdom and US mainlands.

You Only Live Twice You Only Live Twice was an Eon production made in 1967. Its director was Lewis Gilbert and producer was Harry Saltzman. It starred Sean Connery as Bond, Akiko Wakabayashi as Aki, Tetsuro Tamba as Tiger Tanaka, Charles Gray as Dikko Henderson, Donald Pleasence as Blofeld of SPECTRE and Teru Shimada as the bad sidekick, Mr. Osato.

A US rocket suddenly disappears during a routine manned space mission. The United States points its finger at the Soviets and threaten to retaliate. The British, however, tracked a downed space craft near the Sea of Japan. Bond is sent to investigate. Then the Soviets lose one of their space craft as well and 007 must locate the enemy launch site before the Americans and Soviets have it out.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service

On Her Majesty's Secret Service On Her Majesty's Secret Service was produced in 1969 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Peter R. Hunt and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. It stars George Lazenby as Bond, Diana Rigg as Contessa Teresa di Vicenzo, Gabriele Farzetti as Marc-Ange Draco, Telly Savalas as Blofeld of SPECTRE, and Ilse Steppat as Irma Bunt.

The movie finds James Bond on leave who then prevents a woman, Draco, from committing suicide. Her father, who is the head of a big crime syndicate, is impressed by Bond and wants the agent to protect his daughter by marrying her. The father offers Bond an exchange of information that would lead him to his arch-nemesis, Erns Blofeld. Bond accepts with the intentions of killing Blofeld; however, Bond grows closer to Tracy. The British then learn that Blofeld plans to unleas a deadly virus on the world and Bond muse choose between his service to the UK and his intent to marry Tracy.

Diamonds are Forever

Diamonds are Forever was produced in 1971 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Guy Hamilton and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. It starred Sean Connery as Bond, Jill St. John as Tiffany Case, Norman Burton as Felix Leiter, Charles Gray as Erns Blofeld of SPECTRE, and Putter Smith and Bruce Glover as the henchmen Mr. Kidd and Mr. Wint respectively.

The disappearance of a large shipment of uncut diamonds makes the British Government suspicious and even more so when the diamonds never reach the international market. James Bond is ordered to investigate the disappearance which leads to a confrontation with Bond's enemy, Blofeld. Bond then becomes desperate to thwart Blofeld and avenge the death of his wife, Tracy.

Live and Let Die Live and Let Die was made in 1973 by Eon. It was directed by Guy Hamilton and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. It starred Roger Moore as Bond, Jane Seymore as Solitaire, David Hedison as Felix Leiter, Roy Stewart as Quarrel Jr., Yaphet Kotto as Mr. Big, and Kananga, and Julius H. Harris as the henchman, Tee Hee.

During the investigation of drug smuggling, several British agents are killed under mysterious circumstances. The murders are linked to a Harlem crime boss named Mr. Big and his diplomat, kananga. James Bond is sent to investigate. When he arrives in New York, Bond is almost killed by Mr. Big's henchmen. However, the failed attempt gives Bond a lead into discovering a plot to flood the US with a billion dollars worth of heroin.

Showdown The Man with the Golden Gun was made in 1974 by Eon. It was directed by Guy Hamilton and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. It starred Roger Moore as Bond, Britt Ekland as Mary Goodnight, Clifton James as J.W. Pepper, Christopher Lee as Scaramanga, and Herve Villechaize as Nick Nack.

An eerie message arrives at MI6: a golden bullet with "007" engraved on it. This is a mission where Bond must kill or be killed. 007's target is an international assassin known as Scaramanga. Bond must kill him before Scaramanga kills Bond and collects $1,000,000.

The Spy Who Loved Me The Spy Who Loved Me was made in 1977 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Lewis Gilbert and produced by Albert R. Broccoli. It starred Roger Moore as Bond, Barbara Bach as Anya Amasova, Edward de Souza as Sheikh Hosein, Curg Jurgens as Karl Stromberg, and Richard Kiel as Jaws.

A new technology allows the tracking of submaries and this technology is being offered to the highest bidder. The British and their Royal Navy Polaris submarine which is loaded with 16 nuclear warheads become panicky. Then the Polaris disappears on patrol. James Bond is sent to secure the submarine and locate the missiles before they are launched at the West.

Moonraker

Moonraker Moonraker was produced in 1979 by Eon. It was directed by Lewis Gilbert and Produced by Albert R. Broccoli. It starred Roger Moore as Bond, Lois Chiles as Holly Goodhead, Michael Lonsdale as Hugo Drax, and Richard Kiel as Jaws.

A Boeing 747 airliner carrying a US space shuttle to the British crashes into the Atlantic Ocean. The British can find no trace of the space craft upon examination and send Bond to investigate the shuttle's manufacturers.

For Your Eyes Only For Your Eyes Only was produced in 1981 by Eon. It was directed by John Glen and produced by Albert R. Broccoli. It starred Roger Moore as Bond, Carole Bouquet as Melina Havelock, Topol as Columbo, Julian Glover as Kristatos, and Michael Gothard as Emile Locque.

An accident sinks a British ship off the coast of a Warsaw pact country. A hi-tech encryption device called an ATAC is on board. Bond is sent to investigate. However, when the Soviets learn fo the loss, it is a race to recover the ATAC.

Octopussy Octopussy was made in 1982 by Eon Productions. It was directed by John Glen and produced by Albert R. Broccoli. It starred Roger Moore as Bond, Maud Adams as Octopussy, Vijay Amritraj as Vijay, Louis Jourdan as Kamal Khan, and Kabir Bedi as Gobinda.

A Double-"O"-Agent is found dead holding a Faberge egg. Britain sends Bond to investigate the suspicious death. Bond then discovers a connection between the egg and an elaborate smuggling operation by a Societ general who wants to start World War III.

Never Say Never Again

Never Say Never Again *Note: This movie isn't "counted" as an actual Bond movie because it was the only one not produced by Eon. Including this one, there would be 20 Bond movies, but Tomorrow Never Dies is officially 18, and The World is Not Enough makes 19.

Never Say Never Again was produced in 1983 by Talia Films. It was directed by Irvin Kershner and produced by Jack Schwartzman. It starred Sean Connery as Bond, Kim basinger as Domino Vitali, Bernie Casey as Felix Leiter, Klaus Maria Brandauer as Max Largo of SPECTRE, and Barbara Carrera as Fatima Blush.

A US Air Force base has been infiltrated by SPECTRE agents under the command of Erns Blofeld. The base is situated in the UK and two Tomahawk cruise missiles are stolen. NATO is held for ransom and the British reactivate their "00" agents and send James Bond to recapture the warheads and kill Blofeld.

A View to a Kill

A View to a Kill A View to Kill was made in 1985 by Eon Productions. It was directed by John Glen and produced by Albert R. Broccoli. It starred Roger Moore as Bond, Tanya Roberts as Stacey Sutton, Patrick Macnee as Tibbett, Christopher Walken as Max Zorin, and Grace Jones as May Day.

A Soviet-made silicon chip able to withstand the heat of a nuclear blast and nearly a direct duplicate of a British model is found. The British suspect an industrialist, Max Zorin, of leaking design information to the Soviets. Bond is sent to investigate and he finds that Zorin is stockpiling the chips and drilling near the San Andreas fault.

The Living Daylights The Living Daylights was produced in 1987 by Eon. It was directed by John Glen and produced by Albert R. Broccoli. It starred Timothy Dalton as Bond, Maryam d'Abo as Kara Milovy, John Terry as Felix Leiter, Jeroen Krabbe as General Georgi Koskov, and Andreas wisniewski as Necros.

A "00" agent is murdered during a training exercise. When Agent 007 organizes the defection of a top-ranking Soviet general, the Russian gives away a plan by the KGB to kill all its enemy agents. Bond is suspicious but is still ordered to kill the KGB officer behind the plot.

License to Kill Licence to Kill was produced in 1989 by Eon. It was directed by John Glen and produced by Albert R. Broccoli. It starred Timothy Dalton as Bond, Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto as Pam Bouvier and Lupe Lamora respectively, David Hedison as Felix Leiter, Robert Davi as Franz Sanchez, and Anthony Zerbe as Milton Krest.

CIA Agent Felix Leiter is married after an important drug bust which he was a part of. But the drug lord escapes and kills Leiter's wife and mutilates Leiter. Bond then seeks personal revenge. "M" orders 007 to drop it and start a new assignment; however, Bond deserts MI6 and continues his personal vendetta to kill the responsible ones.

Goldeneye

Goldeneye Goldeneye was produced in 1995 by Eon. It was directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. It starred Pierce Brosnan as Bond, Izabella Scorupco as Natalya Siminova, Joe Don Baker as Jack Wade, Sean Bean as Alec Trevelyuan, and Famke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp.

The story is about two Russian military satellites able to cause massive electronic interferance within commercial and military communications with the use of a nuclear pulse. The program discs that control the GoldenEye satellites are stolen and Bond is sent to retrieve the discs. Natalya, a computer scientist, is the only one who witnesses the theft and works with Bond to recover the discs.

Tomorrow Never Dies Tomorrow Never Dies was produced in 1997 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Roger Spottiswoode and produced by Allan Cameron. It starred Pierce Brosnan as Bond, Teri Hatcher as Paris Carver, Michelle Yeoh as Wai Lin, Jonathan Pryce as Elliot Carver, Dame Judi Dench as "M", Desmond Llewelyn as "Q", and Vincent Schiavelli as Dr. Kaufman.

A British Naval frigate loses itself within Chinese territorial waters because of a fake reading off its Global Positioning Satellite System. Elliot Carver, news media super-monster, plays the two nations like puppets attempting to increase ratings for the unveiling of his new world-wide network of news. By creating the news, he is the first to report it. Carver possesses the navigation instrument that created the incident. World War III could begin; however, MI6 sends out its best agent to stop all out war. Bond. James Bond.

The World is Not Enough

The World is Not Enough The World is Not Enough was produced in 1999 by Eon Productions. It was directed by Michael Apted and produced by Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. It starred Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, Sophie Marceau as Elektra King, Denise Richards as Dr. Christmas Jones, Robert Carlyle as Renard, Robbie Coltrane as Valentin Zukovsky, Maria Grazia Cucinotta as the Cigar Girl, and John Cleese as 'R.' Reappearing in their roles are Judi Dench as 'M' and Desmond Llewelyn as 'Q.' Samantha Bond plays Miss Moneypenny.

Four different companies are racing to claim total rights to oil reserves out in the ocean. The front-runner among them is King Industries, headed by Sir Robert King. However, an explosion which destroys the MI6 building leaves Robert King dead and King Industries seems to be out of the race. Robert King was survived by Elektra King, his daughter, who intends on winning the oil as she assumes control of King Industries. A terrorist named Renard puts himself in the way of Elektra. England sends, of course, their best agent, James Bond, to investigate the bombing of MI6 and the plot against Elektra King. Enjoy the ride. . .it's a wild one.
