In the fall of 1997, my best friend, Leslye, and I left the hubbys home and took off on a trip to Valley Forge, PA to attend a Hercules/Xena convention. We had a spectacular time and since Leslye's a member of the Ted Raimi International Fan Club, I was fortunate enough to be able to tag along with her and the other club members to the dinner that Mr. Raimi so graciously agreed to attend. Ted was a fabulously entertaining guest of honor and I have to thank him for making me feel welcome at dinner (even though he somehow picked me out as a crasher!) I know there's a lot of Joxer haters out there, and hey, they're entitled to their own opinion, but I've always enjoyed the character and, take it from someone who's met the man behind the role, Ted's really a great guy! | |
