'Yes Boss' is a fun filled, light hearted comedy along the lines of the Hollywood Michael J.Fox starrer 'The Concierge'.
Like this year's previous hit 'Judaai' the focus is on money and greed - 'Money is all you want, Love is all you need'.
Rahul Joshi (Shah Rukh Khan) dreams of having his own advertising agency. To fulfil his dreams he acts as a right hand man to
a rich business tycoon, Sidharth Chaudhary (Aditya Pancholi). Part of his job includes impressing ambitious young girls for his decietful
yet wealthy boss. In return Sidharth promises Rahul his own agency. So Rahul continues to fill his pockets with his employer's
money until Seema Bakshi (Juhi Chawla) steps into the scene.
Obviously Sidharth falls head over heels for Seema and asks Rahul to play Cupid between the couple. Rahul is successful because
like Rahul, Seema dreams of being ambitious wealthy and popular. But what Rahul hadn't bargained for was that he would start falling
in love...with Seema.
How Sidharth maniuplates both middle class people in order to obtain what he wants form the crux of the story...
Verdict
Shah Rukh Khan is excellent and has played his part to perfection in a role tailor made for him. He is particulary good in the
comic scenes. Juhi Chawla gets a break after a string of flops. She is charming and, like Shah Rukh is particularly good in the
comedy sequences. Aditya Pancholi also excels in the role of a rich, manipulative playboy.
Technically the film is also good. The comedy scenes are the major highlight of the film as well as the music which is already a rage with numbers like 'Chaand Taare', 'Main Koi Aisa Geet' & 'Chudi Baji Hain'.
All in all a light hearted and well made film...for the whole family to enjoy.
