JUST DESSERTS

Evan sat at his desk working on the latest case that had the SIU in a frenzy. Well, he was attempting to work. In reality, he was staring at the computer screen, lost in thought.

He was thinking about the scene that had taken place in his apartment the previous night with Cassidy. She had been so hurt; she accused him of playing with her mind. Evan swallowed hard as the sound of Harvey's voice ended his reverie.
"Hello?....Evan?" Evan shook his head and looked over at Harvey. "Where were you just now?" he asked.
"Huh? Oh, no where. I was just lost in thought."
"Well, you'd better get unlost because Nash'll be back any minute."
"Yeah, okay." Evan said, turning back to the computer.

Several hours later Evan was driving back to his apartment when his cell phone rang. "Hello?"
"It's me." Evan stopped the car on the side of the road.
"Cassidy?" He said in surprise. "I didn't think you were going to call."
"Well, I wasn't going to but..." her voice trailed off.
"Well, I'm gald you did. Cass, I need to see you." Cassidy sighed before answering.
"Where and when?"
"My place? Say around 8:00?"
"All right. I'll see you then, bye." Evan was about to reply when the connection was cut off. 'Well, I suppose I should be glad that she's talking to me at all', he thought to himself as he pulled back on the road and headed in the direction of his apartment.

Cassidy hung up the phone with a sigh. She had just picked up the phone and started dialing without thinking. Now she was committed to meeting him tonight. Not that meeting Evan was a bad thing, it was just that she didn't ant to hear his list of reasons why being with him was a bad idea. "Oh well, I'm stuck doing it now," she said.
"Stuck doing what?" a voice behind her asked. Jumping up she turned around and saw Lynette standing behind her.
"Omigod, you scared the hell out of me."
"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. Now, what are you stuck doing?" she asked again.
"Meeting Evan," Cassidy said.
"And that's a bad thing?" Lynette said, giving her a look. Cassidy just smiled a bit.
"No, I suppose not." Lynette laughed.
"I didn't think so."

Evan lit the candles on teh table and turned out the lights. Everything was perfect. After Cassidy had left the previous evening, he had spent the rest of the night going over and over what she had said. In not so many words, she had told him that he was scared. And, she was right, he was. But, he wasn't going to let that get in the way of what he had with her. It was a huge step for him but she was worth it.

He had been in the kitchen checking on the dinner when the doorbell rang. Popping a certs into his mouth he went and answered teh door. "Hi Cassidy..."
"Hey...uhm, can I come in?"
"Sure,...sure." He stepped aside to let her in. "You look great, by the way."
"Thanks...Uh, listen Evan, I don't plan on staying that long so if could just - -"
"Why - - Why are you in such a rush to leave?" he asked, interrupting her. She just looked at him for a second before answering him.
"Why? Because, I don't need to hear your list of reasons why we shouldn't be together and I don't want to be let down easy so if we could just get this over with, I'd really appreciate it." Evan looked at her like he was in shock. She thought that he -- he shook his head as if to shake the thought from his mind.
"You thought I asked you here so that I could break up with you?!!"
Well, that's the reason, isn't it?"
NO. Evan said, sharply.
"Well, why did you ask me here, then?" She asked in a soft voice.
"Follow me and I'll show you."

He was about to bring her into the living room when the smoke alarm went off. "Shit!" Evan said as he rushed into the kitchen, with Cassidy just behind him.
"What is it?" She asked, entering the smoky kitchen. Evan didn't answer as he grabbed pot holders, opened the oven and pulled out his roast, which was on fire.
"Shit!!" He said agian, dumping the pan into the sink and turning the water on. "Well, so much for that."
"You cooked?" Cassidy asked, in mild disbelief. Evan just looked at her with a sheepish grin.
"Well, I tried to."

20 minutes alater Evan and Cassidy were just about finished cleaning up the kitchen when she turned to him questioningly. "Okay, so if you didn't ask me here to break up with me, why did you ask me here?" Evan stopped what he was doing and took a deep breath before answering.
"I asked you here to tell you that I was wrong about us."
"You mean..." She began, unsure of what he was saying.
"I mean, that I don't want to be just your friend."
"What brought this on?" she asked. "I mean, just the otehr day you were afraid of what my father might say and what it might do to your career." Evan shook his head, this definitely not going to be easy.
"I have to admit, I am a little afraid of telling Nash, but, the worst that can happen is that I have to put in for a transfer."
"And you're okay with that?" She asked, obviously still skeptical. She had strong feelings for Evan but she wasn't going to put her heart on the line until she was sure.
"Yes. About the transfer, I am. I'm more concerned with Nash's personal reaction."
"Well, he's probably not going to be happy, at first," she said, pressing her body against his. "But, I think that with time he will understand."
Evan smiled, already becoming aroused by the smell of her perfume and the pressure of her body against his. "You think so?" he asked, pulling her close to him and locking his arms around her waist.
"Oh yeah," she siad, leaning up and kissing him softly on the lips. "Definitely."
"Well, in that case," he said, leaning down, and picking her up. "We have nothing to worry about, right?"
"Right."
"Good. Now," he siad, with an evil grin, "I believe it's time for dessert."
"Sounds good to me." Cassidy said, leaning over and kissing him again as Evan carried her into his bedroom.

**************************************************************
Evan continued kissing her as he made his way toward the bed. In a way it amazed him, the way he wanted Cassidy. His desire for her was stronger than he had ever had. For anyone.
"Cassidy, are you sure about this?" he asked, in a whisper.
"I am absolutely sure. Evan, I'm not sure just yet, but, I think I'm falling in love with you."
Evan just gently laid her on the bed and got ontop of her before responding, "I'm falling in love with you, too." Cassidy just smiled as he said the words. Comign from him, it meant a lot.
"Make love to me, Evan," was all she said.

Evan pressed his lips against hers, while moving his hands to the straps of her dress. He slipped them down gently as she took her arms out of the straps and manuevered the dress so that it was just resting at her stomach. Evan removed his lips from hers and began to kiss his way down her neck.

When he reached her breasts, he began sucking her left nipple, through the material while massaging the right breast with his hand. Cassidy moaned softly as she reached down and began to unbuckle his belt. Once his pants were open, she reached inside and ran one finger up and down his growing erection, causing him to let out a low animal-like groan.
After several minutes Evan grew tired of the lacely marterial of her bra. Leaning down a little further, he undid the front clasp with his teeth then gently removed the flimsy material from her body.
"I want you so bad, Cassidy." He said.
"There's nothing stopping you," was her soft reply. Evan removed her dress and underwear then stood up to quickly remove the rest of his clothes. Rejoining Cassidy on the bed, he positioned himself to enter her.

He entered her, straining himself to go slowly, tantalizingly. He did such a good job that it sent shivers up her spine. "Evan, please....please don't tease me."
Without responding, he kissed her deeply and began to thrust hard into her. Caught off guard, cassidy's breath became ragged, as she dug her nails into his back. As he came closer and closer to his climax, his thrust became faster and more forceful.
With each thrust Cassidy's moans become louder and louder. "Cass...I...I think I'm going to...cum!" Evan stammered, seconds before he exploded inside her. Feeling his cum inside her, Cassidy closed her inner muscles around him and let out a scream as she had her climax.

Coming down off the euphoria, Evan kissed Cassidy hard on the lips, letting his tounge gain entry into her mouth. He rolled over, bringing her to rest on top of him. Brushing a hair off her face and smiling at her he opened his mouth to speak. "Well...?" he asked.
"Well," she began, "I hope that you don't change your mind about being with me again." Evan looked at her with an amused grin.
"Don't worry, I won't...but, just out of curiousity, why not?"
"Because, you spoiled me by making love to me like that."
"Oh?" He said, looking intrigued.
"Yeah. Well, when I like something that much I don't let it go easily."
"That's good to know," he said, kissing her again. "So, are you satisfied?"
"Oh yeah. That was by far, the best dessert I've ever had."
