NASH BRIDGES (fan fiction 1)
Scene one: Julianne's apartment.
Time: 10:00 p.m. PST
(Writers note: This is the first in a series of fan fictions some will be erotic, others may not be. Anything that is confusing will eventually be told via flashback. Julianne Martin is a character that I created. She does not exist on the show.)
Julianne Martin sat in her living room, staring blankly at the television set. It was 10:00 at night and she knew that Nash would show up eventually, having forgotten that he was supposed to meet her for a dinner with the senior partners of her law firm. Once again he had let her down. The tears burned behind her eyes as she thought of it; the empty seat at the table. She had just made junior partner and had wanted Nash there to help her celebrate. But once again, he wasn't. And this time she just couldn't sweep it under the rug. And she was going to tell him that. The second he walked through the door.
Finally, as if thinking about him, horrid thoughts and all, had made him materialize, the doorbell rang. Julianne sat up, clicked off the television, tightened the belt of her robe and went to answer the door. When she opened the door, and saw him standing there, looking as gorgeous as he always did, she almost had a change of heart; almost. But tonight, not even her favorite outfit: khaki pants, a white tee shirt, a black vest and a black jacket, could make her forget what he did. "Hi
there, Beautiful." Nash said with a smile as he bent down to kiss her. Sensing that something was wrong, Nash looked at her with curiousity.
"Okay, what's wrong?"
"Wrong?" she said, making her anger perfectly clear. "What
would ever make you thing that there is something wrong?" Nash looked at her, visibly getting annoyed. He hated when she played games like this. Not that she did it often, but when she did...
"Julie, what did I do now?"
"Nothing. You just missed one of the most important nights of my life. That's all." Nash stared at her for a second trying to connect everything. Then suddenly it hit him.
"Oh my god. The dinner!"
"That's right. The dinner." Nash looked at her apologetically, he had forgotten all about it, despite the notes he had posted for himself everywhere. "Jules, I am so sorry. Joe and I..."
"Look," she said, cutting him off. "I don't want to hear it."
"Julianne, please, let me explain."
"No. I'm tired of counting on you to be somewhere and then you don't show up. I'm tired of being disappointed." Nash looked at her with a woe-be-gone expression. This was it, the big kiss off. He knew he deserved it but still. He could hardly bring himself to respond to her.
"What are you saying?"
"I'm saying..." she began, still not entirely sure if this was what she wanted. "I'm saying that I need time to re evaluate our relationship."
"Oh." Nash said, not hiding his emotions too well. "Then I guess I'd better go."
"Yeah." Nash looked at her for a second, wanting to say something to her to make it right, but unable to find anything to say. Finally he just sighed heavily and turned to walk out the door."Bye, Julianne," he said with his back to her.
Julie stood and watched him walk away. When he rounded the corner to the elevator she closed the door softly. Staring at the door with tears in her eyes she whispered "bye, Nash."

"Good morning!" Joe said coming into SIU. One of the things that Nash couldn't stand was to see someone in a good mood when he wasn't in one himself. It just made him feel worse. "Nash, how was you're...man! You look like hell." Nash turned to him, red eyed and unshaven and smirked.
"Gee, thanks for noticing."
"No problem. What happened?"
"Julie and I had a fight last night. I'm pretty sure it's
over." Joe looked at Nash in disbelief. For the first time since Nash's divorce he actually saw something in his relationship with Julianne.
"What do you mean, you think its over?" He asked. "What did she say?"
"She said that she needed time to re evaluate our relationship."
"What was the fight about?"
"Well, you know how she just made junior partner at her law firm, right?" Joe nods. "Well, last night was the dinner to celebrate her promotion..."
"And you forgot about it."
"Exactly. I knew it was last night. I've just been so wrapped up in this damn case that it slipped my mind."
"Whoa."
"Yeah. Anyhow, I didn't get much sleep last night. I mostly
just laid there, thinking about her."
"I understand. If there's anything I can do..." Nash looked at him, and then cut him off by saying "I'll let you know. In the meantime, let's get to work."
"Whatever you say."

Later on that afternoon, Inger is in the kitchen cooking when Joe walks in and sits down. "Bad day Joe?" she asked, handing him a beer.
"You could say that." He said, gratefully taking the beer.
Nash was his best friend and he loved him like a brother, but whenever he was upset about it, Joe ended up coming home from work exhausted. Something made Nash work twice as hard when he was upset and sometimes, Joe couldn't keep up.
"Want to talk about it?" Inger asked, going to Lucia's high chair and picking her up.
"Well, Nash and Julianne had a falling out last night. And, Nash isn't taking it too well."
"Nash and Julie? Really?"
"Yeah. Last night was the promotion dinner for her. You know, about her making junior partner." Inger nodded, already knowing what was coming. She knew Nash quiet well by now. "Well, anyhow, he never made it there..."
"He forgot?"
"Yeah. And she was pretty upset about it. So is he. The poor guy. I really wish could do something to help him."
"Joe, don't even think about getting involved. It is between Nash and Julie and that is it."
"I know. I know. Inger, normally I wouldn't even think of getting involved, I mean, I know how Nash is with women. But with Julianne, it's different. He's a completely different person when she's around. Its like it was meant to be."
"I know. I see it too. But still, the problem is Nash's. Not yours."
Just then, Nash came in through the kitchen door. And sat down across from Joe.
"She's right, Bubba. It's not even my call. It's Julianne's. If she needs time to re evaluate our relationship, then I'll give her the time she needs. And so will you. Caspisce?"
"Capisce." Joe said, flatly. Inger looked at him and said "Joe..."
Joe just looked at her innocently. Then turning from Nash to Inger said "I didn't say anything."
"I know." Inger replied.

Several weeks later, Julie is sitting by her computer, focusing on a brief that she was preparing when the doorbell rang. Stretching, she got up and headed for the door.
"Joe," she said, with a smile. "This is a surprise, please, come on in."
"Thanks." He said, coming in.
"So, did Nash send you?" She acted, wondering what was up. Joe smiled sheepishly at her before responding.
"No, he didn't. Actually, he doesn't even know I'm here. Uhm, Julianne, I know that I'm not supposed to get involved with all of this, but I..."
"What's on your mind Joe?"
"Well, I just can't stand to see you guys fighting. I mean, I know that it's natural to have disagreements. After all, Inger and I have more than our share sometimes. But still. With you and Nash, it doesn't make sense."
"How come?"
"Because. You love him and he loves you."
"Maybe so, but..."
"But nothing. Look, Julie, I know how Nash can be. I've been his partner for a long time now. I wish that I could tell you why he does the things he does. But I can't. The only thing that makes sense to me is that he's commitment shy. "
"Commitment shy? Joe, how that can't be. I mean we've been seeing each other for a year and a half." Joe laughs. "What?"
"By commitment, I don't mean dating. I mean marriage." Julie looks at him, obviously stunned.
"Marriage?"
"I don't mean…well,….I, all that I'm saying is that he hasn't been this serious about a woman since Lisa. Just…throw him a bone. That's all."
"You know, you're right. I should." She sighs heavily. "The truth is, I'm not exactly sure that I did the right thing in the first place. I was just so angry."
"So, what's stopping you now?"
"My pride. I'm so embarrassed to face him now."
"Julie, like I said before, Nash loves you. He's been miserable with out you. If you call him and tell him you want to talk things out, I can assure you that the only thing on his mind will be getting back together."
"Joe?"
"Yeah?"
"Is there some kind of hidden agenda behind this?" Joe just looked at her for a second before responding.
"No. Well, kind of. No. No. There isn't.
"Okay." Julie said, laughing. "I'll call him."
"Good." Joe said, giving her a hug. "You guys are my best friends and I just want you both to be happy. Let me know how it goes."
"I will. And Joe?"
"Yeah?"
"Thanks." Joe just smiles at her then leaves.
Julianne stares after him for a second then picks up the phone to dial Nash's cell number.
"Nash." Julie takes a deep breath before answering.
"Nash? It's Julianne."
"Julie?"
"Yeah. Uhm, Nash…could you…could you come to the apartment? I think I'm ready to stop acting spoiled."
"I'll be there in an hour."
"Good. See you then."
"See you then." They hang up.
Julianne sinks into her couch and closes her eyes. Just hearing his voice again made her realized just how much she missed him. Now all she had to do was wait one more hour to see him. And when he got there, everything would be perfect. She would see to it.
Getting up, she headed into the kitchen to pull out the bottle of champagne from the back of her cabinet. She had been saving it for a special occasion and she couldn't think of anything more special then reuniting with Nash. Their split hadn't exactly been a break up, but it might as well have been because of the amount of time they had spent apart. Three weeks, it seemed like an eternity. All she could do now was hope that he would take her back. It would certainly serve her right if he didn't.
An hour later she was filling the tub with warm water and ocean breeze bubble bath. She had meant to get into the tub earlier, but she wanted to try to get in a quick soak before Nash got there. As the tub filled she had set up candles lit them so that they would be the only light in the room. She quickly got undressed and sat in the tub. Resting her head against the back the wall behind her she closed her eyes and began thinking about him. She was about to fall asleep when the doorbell rang. With out knowing why her stomach tightened with nervousness. She got out of the tub, grabbed her robe and ran to get the door. When she opened it, she was completely bowled over by the sight of him.
He looked incredible. He was wearing navy blue dress slacks, black loafers, a crisp navy blue dress shirt with a nice navy blue tie with yellow Tommy Hilfiger flags on it. She could barely take her eyes off of him.
"Hi, Julie. Thanks for calling me." He said.
"Thanks for coming. Please, come on in." Nash smiles at her as he walks in the door. "Oh, these are for you." He said, handing her a bouquet of peach roses.
"Thank you. They're beautiful."
"You're welcome. Julianne, I can't let you take the blame for the fight. You weren't acting spoiled."
"Yes, I was. I didn't mean to be. But, I just was so disappointed that you weren't there. It was such an important night for me."
"I know. And believe me, when I realized what I had done I was really upset. I was looking forward to being there with you. I'm sorry I wasn't there. Joe and I were working on an important case and I just...I don't have an excuse. It slipped my mind."
"I know. In the back of my mind I knew that something important had kept you away." She goes over to him and puts her arms around him. "I didn't mean what I said that night. You don't disappoint me." She looks away, ashamed at what she's remembering. "You never have."
"Yes, I have. I know I have. But I never do it intentionally. I love you, Julianne." He says, hugging her close to him.
"I love you, too."
"I'm still sorry I wasn't here that night."
"You're here now. And that's all that matters." She smiles at him as she leans up and starts kissing him. He kisses her back, feverently. It had been a long three weeks since they had last seen each other. She tightened her arms around him as he moved his hand down to her bottom, placing it there. She could feel him getting more and more excited as they were kissing.
Suddenly, with out warning, she shivered. Nash pulled away, concerned."What's wrong, baby?"
"I'm cold. I was in the tub and when you rang the door bell I jumped out and grabbed my robe."
"Oh, well then by all means finish your bath."
"Come with me?"
"Definitely. In fact," he began, picking her up "how does door to door service sound?"
"Sounds good." She said, kissing him again.
"Then let's go." He said, breaking the kiss only for a second.
************************************************************************
Once they got into the bathroom, Nash took complete control. He gently put her down and moved his hands to the belt of her bathrobe. He untied it so that it opened. He moved his hand inside the material and began massaging her breast. A soft moan escaped her lips. Smiling, he took the robe off completely. She opened her mouth as she felt Nash's tongue enter it. Their tongues played tag as they began to explore each
others bodies. Nash was growing harder and harder as the seconds passed.
He wanted her. He had wanted her for three weeks, even more than that. Sensing that she was cold, he picked her up and gently placed her in the tub, leaning down to kiss her.
Trying to position himself comfortably, he leaned over to suckle a breast when he lost his balance and fell in, clothes and all. Julianne giggled before mumbling, "ouch."
"Sorry." He said quietly.
"Let's get these clothes off you" Julie said, smiling suggestively.
"As you wish, madam." He said as Julie finished taking his tie off and flung it outside of the tub. Then she started unbuttoning his shirt, kissing him as she did.
Several minutes later his clothes lay in a wet pile on the floor. Nash had slid his hand down her body to her vagina, sliding a finger in and out. Julianne was moaning softly, coming to orgasm. Sensing this, Nash slid a second finger inside her and pumped them in and out furiously, trying to push her over the edge into orgasm. Finally, he succeeded. Julianne came hard and loud as she clung to him.
"Hey," she began, still out of breath from the orgasm. "No fair. I can't reciprocate."
"Well," Nash said, positioning himself to enter her, "I think we can figure out someway. Maybe not right now, but maybe later." He said as he entered her. Julie tried to respond, but couldn't because instead of words, a moan of pleasure escaped from her lips. Making love to Nash was always so new and exciting. It never seemed dull or commonplace to her and she didn't think it ever would. Not able to control himself any longer, Nash began to thrust into her, hard and fast. As he came closer to orgasm, his moans became louder, as did hers, because she was building to her second orgasm.
After a few more thrusts, he began his orgasm, the sound of his moans and labored breathing sending her into orgasm as well. As they both started to come down, he kissed her hard on the lips. He then pulled her so that he was on his back, leaning against the back of the tub and she was also on her back, leaning against his chest, her body between his legs.
"You know," he began, picking up her hand and entwining her fingers with his "I can honestly say I never thought that we'd be here again."
"What do you mean? In the bathtub? I certainly hope so." Nash laughed.
"Come on, I'm serious. After that fight, I never thought I'd ever get the chance to hold you, or make love to you again."
"I'm sorry. I really am. I shouldn't have been so hard on you."
"I understand that you were upset. I just wish you would have listened to me."
"I will. From now on, I promise I will."
"Good. Now, what do you say that we get dressed, go out for dinner, stop by Joe's to let him know that everything's okay and then come back here where you can, as you so eloquently put it, "reciprocate" my actions earlier?"
"Sounds good to me." She said standing up.
"Good. Cause I have no intentions of letting you out of my sight if I can possibly help it."
"Good. Because I don't want you leaving my side at all."
"Well, don't worry. Cause that's not gonna happen." Julianne just smiled at him as he said it, kissed him once more, then went into the bedroom to get dressed.
THE END...for now…..
