Quotes: "He almost died? COOL!"
Phineus, like Adonis, is a royal pain in the patella. you would think there would be at least one 'nice' prince at Prometheus Academy but apparently there's not. He's not very much like Adonis though, not being vain and a big chicken. He's very dark and obviously not friendly. He does have this dark but handsome gust of air about him that some girls at the school find irrisistable. Also, like Adonis, he has a group of soldiers that follow him where ever he goes.
Phinny is one of the few people Adonis actually tolerates. Phinny, however, thinks Adonis is 'a little termite in dire need of extermination.' He never tells it to Adonis' face though. Because of this, Adonis actually considers Phineus a friend. Phineus has, however, tried to 'do away' with Adonis on a number of occasions, but the 'accidents' are never linked to him thanks to his secret 'connections'. Phineus also has this bad habit of trying to sound smarter then he really is. It makes him feel more powerful when he sounds more intelligent then even the teachers.
Phineus has a special connection with Hades. He does the gods dirty work while on Campus, including watching Hercules during school hours, making sure he's kept in line so to speak. Hades does own his soul, but Phineus isn't bitter. He gave his soul willingly, loving to work for the most evil of them all. He kind of treats it like an apprentiship, soaking in all of Hades evilness as much as possible, finding evilness to be more rewarding then good. Hades finds the childs 'enthusiasm' amusing and finds it nice to have at least ONE decent minion. Hades has Phineus for as long as his deal holds out. Being the 'nice guy' that he is, he promiced Phineus his one obsession, Andromeda, for a lifetime contract with Hades. Phineus quickly agreed and got Dromey to sign the contract as well, without her knowing what she was signing. (Damn fine print) So, legally, she does belong to him and he is VERY protective of his treasure and has her superviesed almost all the time.
Being, well, kinda evil, Phineus has gained a number of enemies. Hercules knows about his connection with Hades and keeps a good eye on him during school too. They have been known to get into mini-mortal type battles outside campas (not on campus! they could get suspended!) but try to keep their earges dormant during school. Perseus is another wrinkle in his toga. The sooner he destroys this guy, the better. Not only does he NOT fear the dark prince, he also yearns for Dromey's affection as well. Being in a way a hero in training as well, Perseus isn't very easy to catch and so, despite Phineus' efforts, he still lives on. For how much longer? Who knows?
