An Awesome Saturday
Part 1:
Well, my friend told me that Moceanu was going to be at the store ''5-7-9'' on
saturday at the Fashion Square Mall in Orladno. So he and i made a goal to go
there and meet her, and we did. we got there 4 and a half hours early. we
waited and waited. pretty soon 2,000 people showed up, and when 12:30 pm hit,
she came out and everybody went buck wild .my friend and i were the 15th
people in line! we got in there quick to meet her. she gave me an autograph t-
shirt from her, and she also talked to me too and i got my picture taken with
her! that was the best saturday i have ever had, apart from the John Hancock
tour also, that was so cool.
Part Two
I was talking to Dominique like a week after she came to the store to sign
autographs, and she said if i told her my name (so she would know who i am
because i have talked to her before, but she has never seen me before in
person) well she said if i told her who i was, she would have taken me back to
the hotel with her to have lunch with her! i would even get to ride in the car
with her! i am so stupid that i blew one of the biggest opprotunities in my
life! oh well, at least i got to meet her, and that counts....

I met Domi at 5-7-9!!
Ok I met Dominique at the Braintree Mall I got in line 3 hours before I was
supposed to. I was the 49th person in line. I was so excited. So we waited in
line for 3 hours. I talked to a bunch of other gymnasts while waiting.
Finally after 3 hours the line started to move. This time I almost fainted. I
was going to meet the gymnast that I look up to! We finally got to the door.
Loud music was playing. It got me excited even more. We finally stepped into
the store. I couldn't see her yet. While we waited I friendly 579 clerk. Told
us some facts about Dominique. She gets one free outfit a week! I finally was
at least 5 feet away from Domi. I felt like melting. I was in front of the
red barrier. Tyhe clerk let me in. She said Hi I gave her my book to sign.
Also I gave her a card and a letter. She said thank you! I froze. My mom was
yelling at me to turn around for a picture. I finally turned around. My mom
snapping pictures wildly. After my sister got her t-shirt signed. My mom got
my friends book signed. After we went out to eat. I wanted to say more to her
but i froze. I regretted that. Well that is the story of how I met the
Wonderful gymnast Domi.

A Happy Fan
I got there about 6:50pm, and got into line (which had too of been two
high school basketball courts long) I got to know the people in front of
me (not even gymnastics or DM fans, but decided to come-no biggy to
them), and the people behind me, who thought they could get in the
front, 'cause they knew someone'....well they stayed behind me the
entire time, and didnt get anywhere!!! The 5-7-9 people kept coming by
to inform us and answer any questions...DM was signing only one item
from each person, and a free teeshirt, and a postcard also (either you
could have signed). At one point the saleswoman said that our chances
of getting in be4 8:30 (she was leaving on the button) where very slim,
and we probaly would not see her (we had about 100 people behind us
too)....After about and hour and a half, I hinted to the lady that I
wanted to go up and check out how long the line went, and see if there
was anyway to see her from outside the store.....finally i asked again,
and she agreed to let me back in line...Well i went to the store
entrance, and plucked myself into a line already forming to the right
(the autograph line was to the left) and got in (ahead of about 20
behind me!) in about 7 minutes, well acting as the shopper i claimed to
be to one of the seven security guards, I shopped around, and moved my
way to the back of the store....when there she was.....Little Dominique
Moceanu...sitting there by her white dressed up table, with a stack of
teeshirts infront of her, and *her mother right beside her* (that was
really cute..her mommy). She wore a red velvet shirt and jeans, and a
cute floppy black hat all of course from 5-7-9. She looked soooo
adorable, just really a cute young lady. And her mother was very sweet,
and smiling the entire time, just watching the kids and her lil' Domi.
It was just sweet. Well i was within 2 feet of her "shopping" and I
just looked around, snapping pictures left and right (upclose I might
add). And i went eventually to the back of the store where the shoes
where (oh ya, the store was cool too!) and picked out something, and
tried it on....thought, and decided to buy it (the salespeople, as busy
as it was, were very *very* nice....and were very helpful, and
informative) I took about 10 more pics standing at the counter which was
4 ft from Domi, and snapped away as I waited for my sale to ring in. I
enventually got out ot the store, and back to find my "people" and they
were within 15 ft of the store entrance (yippy) I told them everything,
and at about 8:25 they cut off the line of people, 10 people behind us,
WE WERE IN! 8:30 approached and we were within 5 ft of her in the store,
but she still had us and about 10-20 more to sign....Anyways, we got to
her, choose an auto'd postcard to put in an album, and got my teeshirt,
and left...There that is it....We almost didnt make it, but I was siked,
if I got there any later, i wouldnt of seen her. The people that did
not see DM all got free DM 5-7-9 teeshirts (which are really cute) and
that was awefully nice of the store...! They sold the posters, and gave
out postcards while waiting in line, and you got a free tee when you
purchased anything. I ended up getting the teeshirt from a purchase, a
bunch of postcards, (i already got about 5 posters for me and friends)
and another free tee when i met her....and she signed a postcard for
me. It was a very quick meet, and she did not say anything, maybe a Hi!
She smiled the entire time, and was very excited and glad (and not the
tierd looking, unhappy, wiped gymnast we all see on tv) Can you believe,
that her father was not there....Whoa...what a surprize! LOL!

5-7-9
On October 2nd I went to a 579 in Braintree Massachusetts to meet
Dominique Moceanu. She was supposed to start signing at 6:00, but
because my dad couldn’t get out of work early to drive an hour to get
there, we arrived at 6:15. We saw a bunch of people crowding around the
store, there was a line entering the store, and it didn’t seem too long.
Apparantly, it was the line to go in if you wanted to shop. There was a
second line that seemed to go on forever, it was the line to get
autographs. It twisted and turned several times, but finally we found
the end of the line! I wasn’t sure if we were going to be able to meet
her or not since she was only signing until 8:30. But we waited anyway.
There were people who worked at the store passing out free postcards
with Dominique on them. They wer pretty cool! While in line we got to
talk to a couple people who worked there, they told us that in her
contract, Dominique gets a free outfit a week for free from 579! That
must be so cool!! After a long time, we finally made it to the store! My
little 9 year old neigbor who was with me kept insisting the whole time
that he wanted to go first, but when it was his turn, he pushed me in
front of him telling me to go. They handed me a t-shirt with her on it
and asked me if I wanted to have it signed or my autobiography (which I
had in my hand) I said the book, Dominique took it and signed it. And I
got practically pushed out of the way for someone else to go! All I had
time to say to her was “Hi”, and “Thank You”. She didn’t even get to
notice the T-shirts that we were wearing that spelled out Mag7. We had
made the shirts for the tour which we would see in Boston the next
night. The night wasn’t as great as I had hoped, but I got my autograph
and I actually got to see her and take a bunch of pictures. So I was happy!
