Full Name: Fred Aaron Savage Birthday: 10:35am, July 9, 1976 Birthplace: Chicago, IL Family:Lew (dad), Joanne (mom), Kala (sister), and Ben (brother) Occupation: Actor Fred Savage began his acting career at the age of six. His mom took him to the auditions across the street for auditioning in a commercial, but Fred didn't get the part. The director liked him, so he asked him back for another commercial, but Fred didn't get it again. However, he got the third one, starring in a Pac-Man vitamin commercial. After that, he did some more commercials. Then when he was eight, he played Louis in The Boy Who Can Fly. In 1987, he played the sick grandson in The Princess Bride. In late 1987,early 1988, Fred starred in another movie with Judge Reinhold called Vice Versa. Fred played Charlie Stevenson. That role led him to a bigger role as Kevin Arnold on The Wonder Years. He did more movies and films while he was starring in The Wonder Years. His other movies include The Wizard, Little Monsters, When You Remember Me, Runaway Ralph, Christmas on Division Street and some more. He even hosted Saturday Night Live once. He was nominated twice for Best Actor in a Comedy Series in 1989 and 1990, but he didn't win it. He was still the youngest to be nominated for that category. In 1992, he guest-starred on Seinfeld as himself. After The Wonder Years ended in 1993, Fred went back to school. In the mid 90's, he was in such films as No One Would Tell and When A Guy Walks Into A Bar. Fred Savage dropped out of Stanford University to work on his new sitcom, Working (NBC).
