This is the episode that introduces the town of Trinity, SC. We meet all the main characters Lucas,Caleb, Merlyn, Matt, and Gail.
Episode Notes: Gail and Lucas have much deeper roots than what was shown there is an old-fashioned painting from the 18th century with a couple to be married and their faces are Lucas and Gail and in a deleted scene after Caleb has set fire to the attic Lucas says to Gail, "You've come back." This has a double meaning that she has come back to town, but also the woman in the painting has returned too. As the series was filmed this sub-plot was never mentioned. In another deleted filmed scene there is Trinity's "Pirate Days" the network wanted this and unfortunatly this is Shaun Cassidy's only appearence which was cut.
