He plays the girl-chasing Pacey on Dawson's Creek, but Joshua Jackson takes a walk on the same-sex side in the upcoming movie Cruel Intentions.
"It was certainly strange on my second day of work to be like, 'OK, I'm just going to be under the sheets here with this guy. Don't mind us,' " the actor says in the March issue of Out. Jackson says it took some warming up before he felt comfortable doing his big-screen bedroom scene with costar Eric Mabius (Welcome to the Dollhouse). "It's like every high-school locker-room scene," says Jackson. "I looked at him and I was, like, 'This guy is ripped.' I'm a skinny little beanstalk. He was probably hitting the gym, and I looked like a slug. That killed me. But then we had a couple of good laughs, shook our asses at the crew and hopped into bed."
Jackson also says he is not a complete stranger to the homosexual experience: "I actually have been hit on. I politely declined. But listen, when you go to a bar, you hope somebody notices. I don't care if it's a guy. I just want somebody to notice."
