Responsible for $1,000,000 indirect sales budget incorporating direct mail, sales promotions and presentations, research, advertising, meetings and conventions. Worked with publisher to create marketing strategies to position our electronics trade magazines against the competition and to grow the market itself.
Conceived and implemented creative strategies. Wrote copy and acted as creative director, guiding projects through design, layout and printing. Served as marketing liaison to the sales force. Worked with research department, designing questionnaires for buying influence, brand awareness/preference, benchmark, readership and other studies. Analyzed completed studies and repackage them for use as sales tools.
