Annie

Review:

(4 stars) A sparkling $40 million movie musical based on the long-
running comic strip 'Little Orphan Annie'. Ten-year old Aileen Quinn
is just fine in the title role.

My Review:

Mr. Curry once said in an interview "Every little girl has her copy of Annie".
So do the big ones, Mr. C. He plays Rooster, one of my favorite TC roles. He
and Carol Burnett and Bernadette Peters do the best dance routine in the movie.
It's hysterical, I ROFL every time I watch Carol's foot go through the wall. Tim is
wonderful as the cocky little con-man, Rooster. Watching him strut his stuff with
Ms. Peters is rich! 1982

The newly released 20th anniversary edition has a better soundtrack
and has the original movie trailer.

Rating: PG brief profanity (musta been VERY brief)
