"Doom Runners," Curry explains, is "kind of Mad Max for kids." As in
the popular Australian-made, "Mad Max" movies, the time is post apocalyptic,
and chaos reigns. A few children are given a map to the last unpolluted
area on Earth. Finding the place requires keeping out of the clutches of
the Doom Troopers led by Dr. Kao.
"The movie has a strong environmental message for kids, and the part
I played was a lot of fun, Dr. Kao has no redeeming features. Except a
sense of humour, which doesn't entirely redeem him. What's the phrase -
all power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely?"
Wow, he does look good in leather!
This has holes in the plot you could throw a......ah who cares?!
It's a good actioner and has Aussie accents, better than
the general run of TV.
