Synopsis:

The tale of 'The Marzipan Pig', whose sweetness would enchant a
lonely mouse, a lovesick owl, a curious bee and a weary hibiscus
flower, inspires a dance of love under the light of the moon.
Captured with delightful animation and charming narration by
Tim Curry, The Marzipan Pig has a sweet message for us all:
in the end, the most important reason to live is to love.

My Review:

I LOVE this story. I'm not so sure if it's for kids, after
all, the owl EATS one of the mice, and a clock commits suicide
for love. That goofy owl. He falls in love with a lighted meter
on a taxi cab, and shouts his love for all the world to hear, with
Tim's glorious voice! The mouse who wants to be a hibiscus flower,
has a theory why the flower always dies and hopes to avoid the
same fate. This is a strange, joyous, beautiful story, I can see
why Mr. Curry would chose to read it.
Amazon.com books, online, has this for about $10. Buy it!
