The Ploughman's Lunch

[Tim Curry]

Review:

The Ploughman's Lunch is a morality piece about opportunism
and exploitation portrayed through the world of journalism, The problem
is that almost everyone in the film is a weasel: they're all users. The
point is to call attention to this fact, but it doesn't make for very enjoyable
movie watching.

My Review:

Yeah, but he is such a beautiful weasel. I watched this once
and hated it. The second time, I could watch Tim more and ignore
the truely hateful story, in fact the only time the thing is watchable
at all is when Tim is on. Pretty poison. He gets the girl too, but
she is so nasty who would want her.
