Pembleton and Bayliss inform Giardello about Kadja, Malia Brierre's former boyfriend and prime suspect in her murder; Gee tells them to talk to the Wilsons to find out Kadja's last name so that they can start searching for him.  Ballard argues that Felix and Hal Wilson should be considered suspects as well, but Gee and Frank promptly dismiss her suggestion.  Gee suddenly directs Pembleton and Bayliss to Patterson Park for reasons he will not divulge; Pembleton finds out what's up when he makes his way down there and sees Felix Wilson himself hanging up new nets for a basketball court.  Frank and Tim realize that Gee wants them to see Fabulous Felix doing good deeds in order to develop a positive bias for the Wilson family.  Frank and Felix end up playing a pick-up game; Pembleton wins by sinking ten shots in a row.
Munch and Kellerman catch a murder at Oriole Park- a murder committed during a game between the Orioles and the Oakland A's.  The victim is Tony Elefante, a Yankees fan who met his maker on a stairway at the service area's south side.  The Orioles security chief shows up, starts asking questions, and threatens to contact the mayor when they aren't answered.  The detectives remind themselves that there are about 48,000 people in Oriole Park with a motive for killing a Yankees fan.
Ballard and Gharty notify Bayliss that they're headed out to interview Hal Wilson, but they don't tell Pembleton.  During the interview, Hal seems tense, while Gharty seems unrelenting; Hal rambles on about his relationships with his father and Malia, while Gharty wants to find out who Malia had sex with before she was killed; Hal replies that it wasn't with him.  Pembleton interviews Regina Wilson, who provides no help with Kadja. Bayliss interviews Thea Wilson again, who suddenly remembers that Malia spent Sundays with another Haitian refugee and current Wilson employee, Samuel Bissainthe.  Pembleton and Bayliss talk to Bissainthe, who at long last reveals to them that Kadja's last name is Lizaire.
On the way back to the squadroom, Gharty vents his thoughts about the Brierre case and how Pembleton and Giardello seem to be helping Felix Wilson simply because he's black; Ballard, disconcerted at what she thinks is Gharty's racist views coming to the fore, says that she thinks this is just a test of her resolve and that Pembleton and Gee have a right to protect a black community leader in a majority black city.
Meanwhile, back at Oriole Park, Munch and Kellerman interview Elefante's seatmates and find out nothing that helps them.  They try to sit and enjoy the game themselves, but catch an underage kid holding a glass of beer.  The kid points out the guy Elefante came to the game with; John and Mike talk to the man and arrest him when he lies about where he's from.  Scott Russell agrees to give himself up if he could watch the rest of the game in peace. The game comes to an end- Baltimore wins- and he explains that Elefante had been asking for it by buying tickets to a game the Yankees weren't even playing, then arguing that the Orioles were better than the Yankees; Russell, not wanting to hear it, swung at Elefante, causing his head to hit the floor.
Bayliss brings in his ancient junior high school French teacher to inquire about Kadja Lizaire to the Haitian authorities; they reply that Lizaire has been in jail in Port-au-Prince for four months.  A leak to the Sun about the clearance of Lizaire as a suspect and a reestablishment of the Wilsons and their possible involvement brings Pembleton, Bayliss, Gharty and Ballard to a verbal battle; it ends with Pembleton agreeing to interview Felix Wilson in the Box alone.  Pembleton brings him in and gets a shock when Felix Wilson confesses that he was the one who had sex with Malia; Frank has no choice but to ask for a blood test.  Moments after Wilson leaves, his lawyers show up and notify Giardello that the Wilsons have invoked their right to legal counsel and that all inquiries for blood and hair samples will need the appropriate warrants.
