This is a tribute to Angel Tompkins, one of the loveliest ladies in Hollywood, whose career was at its peak in the 70s and 80s when she was the star of I Love My Wife with Elliot Gould, The Don Is Dead with Anthony Quinn,Prime Cut with Gene Hackman, The Teacher with Jay Ward, other films and many, many appearances on TV.

She started out in modelling, and in 1968 landed a role in the Disney short Hang Your Hat On The Wind. The same year she got a guest-starring role on The Wild Wild West , also later appeared in Bonanza, was a regular on Search with Burgess Meredith, Hugh O'Brien and Doug McClure, guest-starred in the episode of The Name Of The Game where Peter Falk introduced the character of Lt. Columbo, and worked fairly regularly throughout the eighties on Kojak, Knight Rider, Three's Company and others. Much of Angel's early work can be seen today periodically, as well as videos which are available generally. She graciously consented to have some of her personal collection of stills and photos scanned so I could begin to put them here in her Gallery.

Angel is my friend, whom I met casually in a computer store and immediately was drawn to, even before I knew she was an actress, as a dear, interesting and wonderful woman. I've been helping her get online, and fixing her Mac and her PC laptop for about a year, during which she's consistently surprised and impressed me with her strength, resiliency, loyalty and general positive outlook on life.

I'm still pretty new to Geocities, and this little page is a small beginning which will grow as time goes on. I'll put many more images of Angel here, as well as a complete biography and filmography. In the meantime, here's a link to her info on the Internet Movie Database
