She was selected during a nationwide talent search to star in the musical "Grease 2". During these formative years, she was a student of the late acting teacher Peggy Feury. After gaining worldwide attention for her role in "Grease 2", she took a part in "Scarface". As Al Pacino's drug addicted wife who breaks down into ruins, she established herself as one of the premiere actresses in film. Pfeiffer began to land better parts in bigger films. She earned an Oscar nomination for her boring wife turned wild lover role in "Dangerous Liaisons". She made her biggest breakthrough as the kick-boxing Catwoman in "Batman Returns". Pfeiffer earned two more Oscar nominations, one for her performance as a Jackie Kennedy obsessed housewife in "Love Field" and the other for her scorching turn as lounge singer Susie Diamond in "The Fabulous Baker Boys". Many critics consider her work as the woman who is cast off from New York society in "The Age of Innocence" to be her greatest performance. Pfeiffer has begun producing duties in addition to her acting on such films as "One Fine Day". She continues to be one of the most in demand and popular actresses in Hollywood.
