This is one primate who has a lot of joints... possibly the most poseable BW toy made, he has 16 joints alone in his limbs: two shoulder joints, wrist articulation, double knee joints and swivel ankles. This gives him many possible poses, like standing on his hands.
His head is on a seperate piece of plastic, attached to another piece, which is attached to the monkey chest.his head sorta' sticks out, instead of resting on his shoulders. This appeared queer to me, but I think I'm getting used to it... His eyes are molded with one eye squinting, giving him a snarly expression. His mouth is kinda' small, since it's also the robot mouth. This makes him pretty weird, with a big head and small mouth, but needs time getting used to. He has a detacheable tail, which can be placed on him in three ways.
The new Spark crystal is on the left side of his torso in this mode. The Spark crystal is a piece of transparent green, half globe shaped plastic, with a Maximal symbol carved into either the plastic, or the body itself. There seems to be a layer of vac- metallised chrome underneath, making the symbol 'light-up' when it catches the light, a truly spectacular effect.
Mainly very dark gray, which almost seems matt black, with red and vac-metallised gold. Blue, red and gold paint are used over him, mainly on his head.
One thing which shows the designers must have put in effort is the fact that no two body pieces on this toy are alike. Every piece has it's own detail, even the feet and hands, with some parts being more organic than the other. This truly shows the bonding between science and nature.
His tail becomes a whip-like weapon, and can only be placed on his
right hand, as the left lacks the post needed to hold it.
Overall, this toy did an extremely good job, and I strongly recommend
it.
