Greetings, film fans. Welcome to my little corner of the universe. Cinema 2000 is a website established by film critic David Keyes, formerly a journalism student in Oregon, who as often as possible devotes an enormous amount of time to studying the aspects of the movie industry. His passionate attachment to all things film-related made him an avid moviegoer at a very young age, particularly for feature animation which, to this day, consumes the majority of his observancy to the world of cinema. But as much as he enjoyed movie watching, he also adored writing. In the later years, after turning his efforts over to journalism, those two hobbies fused themselves. The Internet played the biggest step, however, in bringing his movie reviews to a public, and on August 25, 1998, this website was born. Cinema 2000 has evolved greatly since its initial creation--in the fall of 1998, Mr. Keyes became a member of the Official Online Film Critics Society, the site survived a name change and numerous short-lived moves and redesigns, and despite the author's recent seperation from journalistic activity, it continues to stay alive and updated. So poke around, have a good time, drop a line, and see you at the movies! © 1998-2002. Questions, Comments, and Info can be mailed here.
