of Visual Purple Studio's |
To begin the history of Visual Purple we must start with each individual member. Jeremy Farnell met
Matt Killian |
Matthew Killian when they were in second grade. They spent much of their time picturing themselves as Ghostbusters, hence an early love for film. As they grew their fascination for film became even more prominent in their lives. Working together they produced a stop-motion film using action figures based upon the popular DC character Batman. Mr. Farnell then directed a short commercial for journalism class in tenth grade. |

Glenn Shaheen, meanwhile, spent most of his youth in the Canadian wilderness. He too made several movies during his childhood, including a fourth installment in the Star Wars series. He moved to Lake City in 8th grade, and met Mr. Killian briefly in marching band during the 9th grade. |
Glenn Shaheen |
In the 11th grade, Mr. Shaheen was mistakingly put into a class which he did not request. In an effort to get into a more interesting class, he chose Media Production. Consequently, Mr. Killian and Mr. Farnell were also in this class. They met with one another and discussed their mutual love for film. |
