Cast:

Jeffrey.............................Steven Weber
Steve.................................Michael T. Weiss
Sterling.............................Patrick Stewart
Darius................................Bryan Batt
Debra Moorhouse............Sigourney Weaver
Story:

Jeffrey is gay, single and has given up sex...
... that is until he meets Steve his Mr Right, who makes being committed and in love more complicated than ever before.

With the help of his best friend Sterling, a fantasy quiz show called "It´s Just Sex", new age guru Debra Moorhouse and some plain old therapy, Jeffrey might be persuaded that a relationship in the 90´s isn´t that difficult after all.
Love is an adventure
when one of you is sure
...and the other is positive.
Birgitte S.C.´s opinion:

Jeffrey has an excellent cast, and Patrick Stewart as an eccentric gay is already worth watching the movie. Personally I find Sigourney Weaver´s part in Jeffrey the most funniest she played up to now. She really steals the show in an hilarious sequence as new age guru Debra Moorhouse.

The movie deals with a serious and difficult theme (sex, homosexuality and AIDS) with a perfect balance between comedy and drama, which is not easy to achieve.

I recommend everybody to see this one!

RATING: 8 OUT OF 10
My favourite scenes:

- The sexual compulsive group sessions
- The "It´s Just Sex" gameshow
- New age guru Debra Moorehouse at work
- Jeffrey Phones Home
- Mother Theresa throwing her arm in the air and saying "yes!"       when Steve asks Jeffrey for jewelry.

My favourite quotes:

- Gameshow host: "Who´s your sexual fantasy?"
Sterling: "Yoko Ono." Silence. "To see the appartment!"

- Priest in church:"Say three Holy Mary´s and bring me your         shorts!"

- Debra Moorehouse: "Were you abused as a child?"
Woman from the audience: "No, I believe not..."
 Debra Moorehouse: "Think hard."
 Woman from the audience: "Ehh...no..."
Debra Moorehouse: "Dont lie to me, I´ll call her!"
Woman from the audience: "Yes, yes, yes!"
Debra Moorehouse: "Then you go to your mother and say ´Mother,    you abused me when I was young. You used to hit me with a baseball    bat. But that´s okay, I forgive you. And now you´re old and you have  a plastic hip.  AND I  GOT THE BASEBALL BAT!!!"

- Woman from the audience: "I can walk!"
  Jeffrey: "You could always walk!"
Woman from the audience, annoyed: "Shut up!!"
