Ryan's first big-time success was
in the film "White Squall," where he co-starred with Scott Wolf, Ethan
Embry, and Jeff Bridges. His biggest movie success so far was in
the 1997 horror, "I Know What You Did Last Summer." He starred with
Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr, and Sarah Michelle Gellar, who
he also stars with in the new film, "Cruel Intentions."
Ryan has also appeared in a number
of small budget, independent films. Among them is the now-out-on-video,
"Homegrown." He also appeared in the films, "Little Boy Blue," and
"Nowhere."
Ryan's newest flick to arrive in theaters
is "54," in which he plays Shane O'Shea, a kid from New Jersery who starts
bartending at the infamous Studio 54 in New York. He enters a world
of sex, drugs, and parties that "never end." He stars along with
Neve Campbell, Mike Myers, Salma Hayek, and Breckin Meyer.
