My Jonathan Jackson experience was so awesome. My
sister and I had been Jonthan Jackson fans since he
was in “Camp Nowhere!!!” I had also seen "JJ" on GH
ever since he had been on the show. Well…I hadn’t
bought a soap magazine in a long time. But I thought
why not. Little did I know that inside there would be
little article that said “Jonathan Jackson” was coming
to Oregon. Once I told my sister we both started
freaking out. We both knew we had to go. So we asked
my parent’s and they said “SURE!!!”
Well…finally
October 28th, 2000 finally came. My sister, my Dad
and I all left our house around 5pm. We still had
to find out were “BENSON” high school…but we had some
idea were it was at. We finally got there around 5:45
or 6pm…Jonathan and his band were still doing sound
check. So my sister and I just stood around, and
looked at stuff that people could bid on. We also met
a lady (Hi…NORMA)…she flew all the way from Wisconsin.
We thought it was way cool. So we just talked about
JJ. LOL!!!! Once the doors finally opened we
went to find seats we got like 2nd row on right side.
They were pretty good. I thought we were gonna have
to move….because I thought they were reserved..but
they weren’t. During that time I was sitting down, I
was looking around and I saw a lady that looked familiar from
GH…it was Lisa K..she plays “Hannah on GH”…so I kinda
of yelled out “LISA”…and she looked at me. And I
asked if I could take a picture with her. She said
“sure.” She asked me some questions like were was I
from and what was my name, and she shook my hand, and
said nice to meet you. I was the 1st person to even
notice her, I guess I drew a lot of attention because
after that everyone wanted a picture or a autograph
with her. But anyways she was really nice. My
picture with her came out really cute. The concert
finally started. It was really cool. The begging
there was video and I saw “TYLER Christopher”….let me
tell you he looked so “HOT.” After the video the
screen was raised and a guitar starts playing and
white smoke came from the stage. And the Jonathan and
his band start playing. The concert was a little over
3 hours. There was a little intermission, and Richard
read from The Bible. The concert was very religious,
and it wasn’t what my sister and I expected, but we
both had a great time. After the show was over my
sister and I weren’t going to leave without a slight
chance we might be able to meet him. So…we waited
around the stage area. I looked up and I saw Jonathan
on the stage. I yelled out “Jonathan, can I take a
picture with you?” He looked at me and said “sure”
when I get back. Right then and there I was freaking.
It seemed like he took FOREVER to get back. So we
stood around. He finally got to me, and I’m like “I
was the 1st person to call you over here!” He’s like
“I know you were.” How cool is that…that means he
actually noticed who I was. So we talked a little
bit. And I asked for a picture and he’s like I’m
going to be coming down there to take pictures. But
he’s like but if he want one right now you can have
one. So we did. That picture did not come out very
good. But “oh well.” During that time I also got a
picture with Richard, he was very nice too. A lot of
my friends like that picture more. But I don’t.
Jonathan finally came down from the stage. And my
sister got a picture with him. It’s so cute, she
doesn’t like it much. But I love it. Then I got a
2nd picture with him, that one came out way better.
My head is lying on his shoulder….very cute. LOL!!!
Well that is a concert I will never forgot. Jonathan
and Richard are very sweet and talented guys. I wish
them all the success and luck in the future. I would
love to see them again.

I just wanted to share that I've met Jonathan and Richard twice within the last year and a half. The first time was in Madison, Wisconsin, when Jonathan, Richard, and their mother came here for a preview of the movie Deep End of the Ocean. I couldn't get tickets to the movie or a reception that was held prior to the movie, so I went over to the theater when the movie was ending hoping just to get a glimpse of him and actually got to meet him and Richard too! I was so shocked, I just walked right in and he was there in the lobby signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. It was so cool. He was very nice. Richard took a pic of me with Jonathan. I was actually embarrassed because I didn't realize that Richard was his brother until after he took the picture! He was also very nice. Right after I met them was when I found out that he was leaving General Hospital. If I had known that when I met him, I would've teased him about it because I sure do miss him, but I wish him and Richard too the best of luck with their new projects. They will both go far. They have so much God given talent and at such young ages. I can't believe the wisdom of these two, it's truly inspiring.
The second time I met them was October 28, 2000, at the Hope Concert in Portland, Oregon. I flew out for the concert and I really feel honored and privileged to have been there. There aren't enough adjectives in the English language to describe what an awesome, inspirational evening it was. I sat in awe the entire evening. Their band Scarlet Road performed for over 3 hours. Then afterwards, I waited until they came out and met the fans, signed autographs, gave away bibles (which is what they autographed, too cool!!), and took pictures with fans. Jonathan and Richard are both such gracious people. They appreciated everyone coming, but like I said before I was the one who truly felt privileged to have been there. What an opportunity. I so appreciated their message of faith. They give of themselves so unselfishly. I also was able to meet their mother Jeanine after the concert. I acknowledged to her what talented children she has, including Candice, who also sang during the concert and did a wonderful job. She just smiled and said again how much she appreciated me coming and gave me a hug! That was so sweet. What a wonderful family. It will be an evening I will remember forever. I can't wait to see the video when it comes out.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share! Norma Dusing Thanks so much Norma for sharing your encounter with us! Your so lucky!

Hi!
Ok I know that you must hear a lot about the concert the Jonathan and Ricard did in Portland "hope for the hopeless streets. Anyway, I had beg my mother to go to the concert, and that's all I wanted to do for my b-day. Anyway we got on our plane from CA to go to the concert (Now is my mother wonful or not?) We sat in the parking lot for three hours (We didn't know anyone in that area and had nothing else to do) I saw Jonathan Jackson pull up and into the parkinglot, I thought that I would fait! And it didn't look like he rented the car. I was leaning against the car because being a car for three kind of hurts after a while. My mother say that was carzy, that he wouln't show up three hours before the show. When he and Richard got out my mother marched up to him and asked if he would like to meet his number one fan. I thought I'd kill my
mother for doing it, too. I'm a very shy person. He walked up to me and held out his hand for me to shake. He said, "Hi I'm Jonathan." My mind went numb. I thing I mummbled my name but I'm not sure. I know I stared a lot. I saw Richard the behind Jonathan, smiling his head off. I tried
to memmorize what he looked like. I know he had two earings now, and he's a lot taller than I am. (But let's face it anyone who is 4'11 will look small to everyone.) My mother tried to get me to talk by saying that it was my 17th b-day wish to come up here and stuff like that. I asked for his pic and to sign my CD of Scarlet Road "God Candy" He was
really nice. I don't think that I could ever forget it!!!!!!
