Hello everyone!!!
I just had to share this great news!
This afternoon I recieved a phone call from Jeanine Jackson (JJ & Richard's Mom) She called me to tell me some great news!
I am the winner of a tie that Richard Lee Jackson wore in the movie "True Rights" It will also be autographed by Richard himself. (Note: This contest was through their Official Fan
Club. If you would like to join their Official Fan Club please visit their website for more information ~ CLICK HERE) I was very surprised to hear the news from Jeanine herself. She was really sweet on the phone. I took the
opportunity to tell her that she has two lovely sons.
She of course graciously said thank-you. I also took
the opportunity to tell her about Jackson Lane. She had then told me that she thought my name was familiar. At that point she continued to tell me how great the website is and how much they appreciate all the work that has gone into the site. I
continued to tell her how much we enjoy working on the
website.Also theChristmas Wish Book that
we had put together for them, was also mentioned, and
she said it was a very sweet and wonderful thing to
do. At this point I thought our conversation was coming to
a close, so I of course told her to say Hi to Richard
and Jonathan for me. Why not the opportunity was
there.
It was at that time that she asked me if I could hold
for a second. Of course I had all the time to wait -
lol. About a minute later she came back on the phone
to tell me that Richard wants to talk to me. At this
point I couldn't believe my ears. Richard Lee Jackson was going to talk to ME! "Hello Andrea..." Richard said. I was grinning from ear to ear I think. Richard has a very sweet voice and lovely voice on the phone. We had a really wonderful
conversation. Of course deep down inside my
heart was racing like a million miles an hour. Everything was just happening so quickly.
During our conversation I asked Richard if there is anything new, and he told
me that Jonathan and him are working on some new
material. I quickly asked if they were writting more
scripts, or writting more songs. He said they are
working on some more scripts right now. He also told
me that they are they are working on new music too *YEH*
He then mentioned about the Christmas Wish Book, and had thanked us for putting it together. "It really
touched our hearts.." is what he said. Of course I was
really happy they enjoyed the book and the website. I actually took the opportunity to tell Richard that we get so many wonderful emails from so many fans, some thinking we are actually YOU. He had a chuckle at that. I also continued to tell him how Karen & I communicate. Having never met Karen, we both communicate online, doing the updates for Jackson Lane. Richard really thought that was neat. I told him I've made a best friend in creating this site. And that I did !!
Our conversation ended quickly, and I told him that it
was really nice to talk to you, take care and I had to
tell him to say Hi to Jonathan for me *hehe* He said
he will certainly do that. *sigh*
I'd like to take this time to thank Jeanine for giving me the chance to chat with Richard. You really did make my day a brighter one and also something I soon won't forget!
