Wade used to be Quinn's girlfriend. She went over to Quinn's house when he was opening the vortex and he convinced her to go with him and his professor (into the vortex).

After about 3 years of sliding Quinn finds the co-ordinates to their home world. Wade and Rembrant slide to it using the original timer and Quinn and Maggie come 3 months later with the guy who killed Maggie's husband's timer. In the 3 months, Kromaggs had taken over Earth Prime (their home world) Wade and Rembrant were caught, Rembrant was sent to a de-programming place (not sure of the exact name) and Wade was sent to a breeding camp.
