La Familia...

My nuclear family is headed by my parents -- Mr Olabode Ogunleye and Mrs Adejumoke Ogunleye. Both my parents are accountants, which never ceases to amaze me because I have a rather limited aptitude for math. Then again, maybe they're not my real parents. I've always had my doubts...

In any case, I am the third of four siblings. My position in the family is mildly irritating, because I have no significant title other than "third child." Let me explain: My older sister, Tolani, is the first child and the first daughter. My older brother, Foluso, is the first son, and my younger brother, Tolu, is the last born and bonafide baby of the family. Where does that leave me? I would say have to say somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle, because I just seem to be floating around in the middle of nowhere.

In case you're wondering, Tolani is 35, Foluso is 29 and Tolu is 23. You can see pictures of them in my album.

So that's it for my nuclear family. However, anyone who knows me well can tell you that my real family is much larger than that. I have numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and I'm not exaggerating. My extended family is huge, and it's growing every day. I'm not even going to begin to mention names, because there isn't enough room on the entire Internet for that! But it's a blessing to have such a wonderful, tightknit family. I love every one of them, even though I don't always understand them! You can view pictures of some of them in my album. 1
