On the first listening of this album, after the fist two albums, one can easily be forgiven for thinking they listening to a band other than Danger Danger. The songs deal with more serious issues such as drug addiction and stalking (Crawl & Helicopter),and they are far removed from Danger Danger's "Cock-Rock" image. After a few listens it is obvious that there are still snatches of Melodic brilliance among the grunge (Nobody Cares),and if the album was by someone other than Danger Danger,it would not have been so badly overlooked, but if you can get past that, then it's an excellent album, worthy of praise for it's lyrical content and musical changes, the album is worth buying for the track "Wide Awake And Alone" on it's own, also Paul Laine proves that he is a more than worth replacement for Ted Poley(gone but not forgotten),this album is a bridge towards a more adult sounding Melodic Rock.
