Even though BtVS is based in the US, there are many Canadian links. Donald Sutherland, who plays Merrick, Buffy's watcher in the movie, is Canadian. Fab Filipo, who plays Scott Hope in a few BtVS episodes in season 3 is also a Canadian. He appeared in the Canadian show Ready or Not as well as a guest appearance on the Canadian Are You Afraid Of The Dark? and Flash Forward. Keram Malicki-Sanchez, who appears in Earshot is a Canadian as well. He has appeared in Catwalk, Ready or Not, among other Canadian projects. More Canadian actors on BtVS soon!

There are also many Canadian BtVS fans. Most of us only get to see BtVS the saturday after those who view it on the WB. Sometimes this is frustrating when it comes to surfing sites that already have information about the past shows. Maybe the time will change one day, but until now I'm glad to take whatever amount of BtVS I can get!

Many of the actors on BtVS have appeared in movies with Canadian co-stars. Here are a few:
Sarah Michelle Gellar co-starred with Joshua Jackson (a Canadian) in both Scream 2 and Cruel Intentions. Neve Campbell, who is also Canadian, was in Scream 2 as well.
