Alyson attends many sci-fi conventions to keep in touch with her fans (through Buffy).
The producers of American Pie originally wanted to cast Alyson as Heather, but she prefered to play Michelle since she thought the latter role was funnier!
She has a tattoo of tribal dolphins on her ankle, as well as the Chinese character for luck and happiness on her back.
She is currently dating the drummer of Marilyn Manson's band. (!!!!)
