As we all know, there are many, many different varieties of music. I, for one, like pop/rock best... I usually go with the flow of Billboard, etc. So most of the artists will probably be popular MTV-types. (I love MTV, btw) Every now and then, I'll have some strange artist pop up, and you might say to yourself, "What is THAT doing there?" But don't. 'Cause I'm warning you now.
Artist | Title | Release Date | Description |
---|---|---|---|
*NSync | No Strings Attached | 2.2000 | What can I say? I'm a die-hard fan; this boy band has personality and talent (give their acapella a listening-to); the newest CD proves their growth thru ranges of blissfully slow melodies to pumpin' beats. |
*NSync | Your everyday boy band, but there're some catchy favorites you can find on here too... | ||
3 Doors Down | The Better Life | 1.2000 | |

Blink 182 | Enema of the State | ||
Dude Ranch | |||
Britney Spears | Oops... I Did it Again! | 4.2000 | For the pop-lovers, a mix of songs aimed at those of all ages... meaning there's something you'll probably like, but also stuff you'll FF right thru! |
...Baby One More Time | |||
Chris Cornell | Euphoria Morning | ||
Christina Aguilera | My Kind of Christmas | 10.2000 | |
Christina Aguilera | 8.1999 | ||
Creed | Human Clay | With the deep, throaty voice of Scott Stapp and the melodious complexities of the tunes, Creed has stayed on the Billboard charts (still counting) and released numerous singles from thisdebut album. | |
Destiny's Child | The Writing's On the Wall | 7.1999 | Although they've been through a lot, Destiny's has withstood (unlike other bands torn apart, ie.TLC) and still gained popularity (unlike ie.Spice Girls). |
Dido | No Angel | 4.2000 | Dido has boosted onto the music scene with the help of Eminem's "Stan" and the WB's Roswell ("Here with Me" is the theme song). |
Dixie Chicks | Fly | ||
Wide Open Spaces | |||
Eminem | The Marshall Mathers LP | 4.2000 | By now, you should have heard enough about Eminem that I shouldn't have to introduce him; the CD is surprisingly good though, if you listen to the lyrics--his honesty is brutal but apparently addictive, as is his obvious talent. |
The Slim Shady LP | A up and coming star (supported by Dr. Dre), with an increasing number of hardcore fans. | ||
Enya | A Day Without Rain | 11.2000 | |
Everlast | Whitey Ford Sings the Blues | Oh man I love this CD. Only bought it because I read a good review of it, and I'm glad... a mix between everything soulful in music, Everlast's deeeeep voice matches the seriously contemplative lyrics. | |
Faith Hill | Breathe | 11.1999 | |
Goo Goo Dolls | Dizzy Up the Girl | ||
Kid Rock | Devil Without a Cause | ||
Lauryn Hill | The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill | From what I've heard, a really GREAT starting solo album. Lauryn Hill won the MTV Musica Award's Best Newcomer category. | |

Matchbox Twenty | Mad Season | 4.2000 | |
Madonna | Music | 9.2000 | |
Sarah McLachlan | Mirrorball | ||

Nine Inch Nails | The Fragile | ||
Offspring | Conspiracy of One | 11.2000 | |
Americana | Great CD for all you punk-lovers... Nice n' heavy beats mix well with Dexter Holland's scream/yells :P | ||
Puff Daddy | Forever | ||
Rage Against the Machine | Renegade | 12.2000 | |
Red Hot Chili Peppers | Californication | 6.8.1999 | Great stuff, even for a new fan (like me). Includes much-played "Scar Tissue." |

Smash Mouth | Astro Lounge | If you LOVE Smash Mouth, get this; otherwise, most of the songs sound the same! | |
Sugar Ray | 14:59 | ||
U2 | All That You Can't Leave Behind | 10.2000 | U2 shows that, in this age of bubblegum pop, they can still duke it out with the rest of them. Their latest CD includes soaring harmonies and more of the beautiful songs that U2-fans expect. |
