Much to most people's surprise, Columbia is NOT a Transylvanian. She is Frank's ex-lover/ groupie who happened to fall in love with Eddie, the Hooked on Phonics drop-out.
How did Little Nell get to be Columbia?
Supposedly she was working at an ice cream fountain in England when Jim "don't squeeze the" Sharman came up to her because they heard that she tapdances when taking orders. She strutted her stuff with them and was offered the job as Columbia in the Rocky Horror Show.
Who is Little Nell?
She was born in Sydney, Australia as Laura Campbell. She was an Olympic swimmer for the 1972 Olympics. She released three singles under the name Little Nell. She appeared with Richard O'Brien (Riff Raff) again in MICKEY MOUSE, NOW, as well as JUBILEE AND ROCK FOLLIES. Currently she owns a nightclub called Nell's in New York City and just gave birth to a baby boy.
Can I get any of Little Nells' Singles now?
They are all out of print, however, I have seen them occaisionally on Ebay. Worth a checkout.
