Let's face it. There's a lot of stuff in this movie that doesn't make sense. While we try not to dwell on these idiot-syncrocies for long because we'll never know the answers for sure...here is OUR best guesses.
HOW THE FUCK IS THIS CASTLE DESIGNED?
OK, the most common question in Rocky-ville is this: The lab obviously has no door and therefore the only access is via elevator. If this is so, how the hell did all the Transylvanians get up to the lab before Brad and Janet? Surely they didn't ALL squeeze into the elevator in that short time that Magenta and Riff were undressing our favorite virgins...because as you recall, the elevator takes it sweet time going up to the lab. Well, our theory is that since they are aliens...is it possible that they could have sonically transduced themselves upstairs? After all, there is a sonic transducer in the lab that is capable of "breaking down solid matter and then projecting it through space and who knows". Perhaps there's anothr one floating around the house somewhere that took them all to the lab. It certainly would have been faster.
And you know that banister that Magenta slid down? Well those stairs have to go SOMEWHERE. WHERE THE HELL DO THEY GO! Obviously they don't go directly to the lab. They're probably the same stairs that Dr Scott rode up...and the same stairs we see in Planet Schamet Janet (though possibly not...after all...that castle is HUGE). Where is that damn lab in relation to those stairs? And why is there an observatory ramp in that lab if there is no way to GET to the observatory through a doorway! There's gotta be a way to get up there! No wonder they had no CHOICE but to break a damn whole in the wall. Our guess to this whole mess is that Dan Quayle was the architect. It would explain a lot.
WHAT THE HELL TIME IS IT?
It's obviously late in the evening when Brad and Janet get to the castle...probably about 10-11ish. They then proceed to go to bed....get seduced, THEN have dinner????? They were probably eating at 3:00 in the morning! And what was Doctor Scott doing OUT at that time of night anyway! We have this feeling that the aliens are awake in the night anyway, so perhaps this was a normal meal for them. Remember, after all...they are creatures of the night. And Magenta, when talking about her hom planet, mentioned "land of night." Therefore, perhaps they were very much like vampires and therefore eating at 3:00 in the morning was very normal to them.
BRAD'S A VIRGIN, YES? UUHHHH....MAYBE NOT.
One of our friends brought this up which actually is something good to think about. How sure are we that Brad is a virgin? We know Janet is because she said "she was saving herself" right before sleeping with Frank. But, Brad never said. When Brad said, "You tricked me...I never would have...never ever." when he discovers its Frank and not Janet, does he mean never ever...or never ever with a man? And let's think about this...we don't know that Janet is Brad's first girlfriend. We know they met in Dr. Scott's "examit"...but we don't know when Dr. Scott taught them. Do you think that many "Dr's" teach freshmen and sophomore classes? Hell no. They save Dr.s for college prep courses...which are likely senior year. Therefore it is very possible they didn't get together til the END of high school...which means both of them could have had other partners. If you ask my personal opinion, Brad is a virgin...but its still an interesting twist regardless.
EDDIE...FRANK'S SEX SLAVE?
This is something most people don't even catch. When Columbia says "First you spurned me for Eddie then threw him off like on old overcoat for Rocky." Wait, back up. Doesn't that imply that Eddie and Frank were intimate? We know Frank and Columbia had a relationship...then did Frank have one with Eddie? Then Eddie went to Columbia so Frank sliced his brain to make Rocky? Which this brings an interesting situation. Its implied that Frank came to earth to make a sex slave. However, if this Edie theory is true, the sex slave (Rocky) didn't come until after Eddie left him for Columbia? So if this is the case...why did Frank come to Earth to begin with?
COLUMBIA...WHAT RELATION IS SHE TO FRANK?
Another thing to think about. We know that Riff and Magenta are siblings. We also know Frank has a mother...(as in when he ays, "on my mother's grave.") Who is Columbia then? My one friend thought that possibly she was Frank's sister. Which is possible. Incest does seem to be the norm on this planet (and Columbia and Frank were intimate). She's also really not a slave, like Magenta and Riff Raff are. Frank does have a mom. She's obviously there for a reason (as her tap dancing leaves much to be desired). There are those that say Columbia is not a Transylvanian at all...I disagree because it really isn't clear. Yes, perhaps if she was an alien, the sonic transducer would have no efect on her libido. But then again, what parents would be cruel enough to name their kid Columbia? My guess would be the same parents who would be cruel enough to name their kid Frank N. Furter. As I said, there is little proof...but its just something fun to think about.
WHY IS THERE BLOOD IN THE FREEZER BEFORE FRANKIE KILLS EDDIE?
This could have been a continuity error (and probably was). However, it is possible that the freezer was where Frank sliced Edies half-brain out of his head (makes sense...I would imagine the ice is quite numbing)...hence, the blood in the freezer.
