NEW YORK (AP) - Growing up poor, Tobey Maguire never
expected to have any anything handed to him, and he's a little
overwhelmed with his stardom.
Maguire, 24, talked about the changes in his life and his new role
as a suicidal writing student in "Wonder Boys" in the March issue
of Harper's Bazaar.
"Sometimes I get panicky," Maguire said. "I ask myself what life
is, you know? Is it the pursuit of material success? Is it a spiritual
journey?
"I'm really learning about responsibility and mortality - those are
the two big things. The concept that this is not a dress rehearsal."
