David and Jennifer are twins. The only difference? Well, Jen is a super-popular b*itch à la dumb blond, and David is... the average looser, with a 50's obsession as an extra. Everything actually happen the night where Jen has a date, the same very night of the Pleasantville festival. The two kids fight for the remote, end up breaking it... immediatly, a strange TV repair man rings the bell, saying that he has the perfect solution: A brand new TV remote with a wierd shape. N-e-ways, David and Jen start fighting again... until they find themselves stuck IN the Tv... as Bud and Mary-Sue. The "Repair" man had actually been looking for two kids to replace the ones in the show, and they have been chosen, despite there will.

Soon, they discover the un-pleasant side of Pleasantville. The books have nothing written in it, fire dosn't exist, bathrooms neither, mom can have a baby without any sex involved... David is ready to play the game, but Jennifer refuses to end her life in a poodle skirt and greasy food. Soon, the two 90's twin start acting there own self again, pushing everyone to there limits... coloring there fade world... showing these people that the "colors" are inside them... and that perfect dosn't always rime with fun.

After mucho trouble, major laughs, cries and love affairs, Jen, (who is now a serious student) decides to stay in Pleasantville, while David goes back in the real world, with, not only a souvenir of his first girlfriend... but also a new self esteem he never though he had. And as for his TV mom's affair? Well, i guess some mysteries will just have to stay unsolved...
