Sunset Beach’s final week was fantastic. No one could have asked for more. The cast and crew really did a great job delivering a finale, ending those marvelous three years.

I especially loved Meg’s dream. I got scared for a moment, wondering if the last three years was a dream, or if this was a dream within a dream. I didn’t see how it would fit.

But the dream was fantastic! It showed the familiar humor of Sunset Beach, and it gave us fans a chance to see happy endings for those who didn’t get one.

Sunset Beach was truly the all-time best soap opera and will never be forgotten.

Well, this seems to be my final update on The E-Mag. I apologize for neglecting the maintain it. Last time I told you that I was involved in other daytime ventures. Well I'll tell you about it now. I have teamed up with Sunset Central and together the SC staff and I are creating new sites for other soap operas. These sites are basically carbon copies of Sunset Central only focusing on other soap operas. So if you like One Life To Live and General Hospital, and would like to help out at our new site, please e-mail me. To see what staff positions are open, please see Lend A Hand.

Looks like another soap opera is facing the cancellation threats Sunset Beach faced. This time it's ABC's Port Charles. The soap opera is a General Hospital spinn-off and has been running for about 3 years, like Sunset. In last week's ratings, Port Charles rated a low 2.0 tying second to the last with NBC's new soap Passions [Sunset had last place]. Which makes me wonder if NBC will be giving Passions the "pink slip" in the next year or so, since cancelling shows (especially young ones) seems to be a favorite passtime of NBC.
