Events
• Dr. Schenkman dumps Maris, and she goes running back to Niles.
When he rebuffs her, she vows to bleed him penniless in their
divorce proceedings.
• Maris’s depredations force Niles to give up his Mercedes and his
apartment at The Montana. He instead drives a hatchback and moves
into the “Shangri-La.”
• KACL’s all-salsa format flops, and the station re-hires all of the
old talent.
• Frasier starts dating Faye Moskowitz, a pastry chef.
• Frasier also dates Cassandra Stone, the station’s new publicity
director.
• Martin starts dating Bonnie, a barmaid at McGinty’s.
• Woody Boyd visits Frasier in Seattle.
• Niles hires Roz’s ex-boyfriend Donny Douglas, a tough divorce lawyer.
Niles wins his divorce, but is devastated when Daphne starts dating
Donny.
• Niles moves back into The Montana. At his welcome-back party, his
cockatoo, Baby, chokes to death.
• Forced to choose between Faye and Cassandra, Frasier chooses Faye.
• Donny and Daphne get engaged, breaking Niles’s heart.
• Finale: Roz, out of loneliness, finally gives in to Bulldog’s advances.
She plans to dump him, but holds back out of sympathy when he is fired
from the station. He dumps her instead. Niles, to get his mind off
Daphne, has a fling with Kit, a Café Nervosa waitress, who makes a very
public scene when he breaks up with her. Faye dumps Frasier because he
can’t get Cassandra off his mind; Martin dumps Bonnie when she laughs at
her poodle, Lady, “humping” Eddie.
