~*~ Batman Begins ~*~

Alfred Pennyworth: Why do we fall, sir? So that we might better learn to pick ourselves up.

Ducard: The world is too small for someone like Bruce Wayne to disappear... *gestures around them* No matter how deep he chooses to sink.
Bruce: Who are you?
Ducard: My name is merely Ducard, but I speak for Ra's al Ghul. A man greatly feared by the criminal underworld. A man who can offer you a path.
Bruce: What makes you think I need a path?
Ducard: Someone like you is only here by choice. You've been exploring the criminal fraternity... but whatever your original intentions... you've become truly lost.

Ducard: You're stronger than your father.
Bruce: You didn't know my father.
Ducard: But I know the rage that drives you...

Ducard: Your anger gives you great power, but if you let it, it will destroy you.

Alfred: Are you coming back to Gotham for long, sir?
Bruce: As long as it takes. I'm going to show the people of Gotham that the city doesn't belong to the criminals and the corrupt.

Alfred: Why the bat, Master Wayne?
Bruce: Bats frighten me and it's time my enemies shared my dread.

Bruce: What's that?
Lucius Fox: The Tumbler? Oh, you wouldn't be interested in that.

Lucius: *after testing the "batmobile" out* So what you do you think?
Bruce: Does it come in black?

Bruce: A guy dresses up like a bat clearly has issues.

Alfred: When you told me your grand plan for saving Gotham, you said it wasn't about thrill-seeking.
Bruce: It isn't.
Alfred: What do you call that? *points to a TV news report of a high-speed chase involving the Batmobile*
Bruce: Damn good television.

Dr. Crane: He's here.
Henchman: Who?
Dr. Crane: The Bat...man.

Ra's al Ghul: Time to spread the word... and the word is... panic.

Bruce/Batman: It's not who I am underneath... but what I do that defines me.

Ra's al Ghul: Have you finally learned to do what's necessary?
Batman: I won't kill you.... but I don't have to save you...

Bruce: Batman's just a symbol, Rachel.
Rachel: This is your mask. Your real face is the one criminals now fear. The man I loved... the man who vanished... never came back at all. But maybe he's still out there somewhere. Maybe one day, when Gotham no longer needs Batman... I'll see him again.

Earle: Fox, what are you doing here? I seem to remember firing you.
Lucius: You did, but I found a new job. Yours.

Bruce/Batman: *on police rooftop inspecting the Bat Signal* Nice.
Lt. Gordon: Couldn't find any mob bosses to strap to the light.
