Lance stood up and stuck out his hand to help her up.  "Hey dude. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I can stand up on my own thank you very much." Christina looked at Maggie in horror.  "I'm so sorry she's a tomboy." apologized Christina for her.  "Not so sorry." muttered Christina under her breath.
Lance looked at Christina and turned back towards Maggie. "What's your name?" "Maggie. And yours?" "Lance." the tall 21-year old smiled. She wasn't a fan. There was no way she could be after him for his money or his fame.  "Ummm. I'll be going now." said Maggie smiling a genuine smile.  "Where are you heading to?" asked Lance.  "Why?" "Oh, well I have a 1/2 hour to kill." "The SportsCenter. The Emitt Smith limited edition autographed footballs are on sale for 50 bucks."
"Mind if I tag along?" asked Lance, seriously hitting on Maggie. "No, not at all." The red head smiled and thre her purse over her shoulder.  4 hours later, Lance had finally dragged Maggie into a dress store.  "What the heck are we doing here? I'm not going to wear anything." "I'll pay you fifty dollars to wear on dress, heels, and a little make-up." "Make it a hundred and you're on." "Deal."
"I say forest green or navy blue is your color." said Lance looking at Maggie up and down.  "How would you know what my color is?" "I hand around gals like you all the time.  I like green eyed gals." "I like that." "What?" asked Lance suspiciously.  "Gals. you say it so cute. I-I mean." Maggie blushed a deep red and turned towards the dress racks.
"I'm not wearing that." said Maggie 5 minutes later.  "Why? It's perfectly acceptable." said Lance.  "Not too long, not too short.  I like the color too." The dress was halfway up past her knees, a deep red, and had a moderately low cut neck line.  "I don't think so.  That dress is way too revealing." "You want it short so it will reveal your tan." "No I don't." said Maggie faking a smile.
After tons of arguing Maggie finally agreed to the dress. "That's a girl." said Lance, giving her a peck on the cheek. Maggie turned a crimson red.  "Oh I forgot. You're a tomboy, right?" Maggie blushed. "I might not be after wearing that dumb dress." muttered Maggie.  Lance laughed and grabbed her hand.  "Ya know, I wouldn't mind if you decided to not be a tomboy." he said flirtatiously.
"Uhhh, I-I think w-we need to get going." said Maggie trying to free herself from Lance's grasp. Lance sighed and let go of her hand.  They walked back to the CD store.  "You better come back at 7:30 Miss Dawson." he said.  "I will." "I'll give you your make-over then." "I still can't believe you could actually give a girl a make-over." said Maggie staring at the ground.
"You'll find out tonight." said Lance, taking Maggie's hands in his and giving her a kiss on the cheek that lasted a little too long.  Christina say it and hurried over. "Hey Maggie. I think we should get going." she said giving Lance a dirty look. "Lance is giving me a ride. I'll be there. Don't worry." "Okay, but if you're not there in 15 minutes I'm calling the police." said Christina seriously.
After Christina left Lance looked at Maggie.  "I don't think she likes me." "It's not you, she just doesn't really care for boy bands." Lance looked at Maggie. "You ready to go?" "Yeah." After 5 minutes they were at Christina's house.  "I'll see ya tonight right?" "I hope so." said Maggie immediately turning a deep red. Lance hesitated and kissed Maggie... on the lips.
"Ummm, I'll see you tonight Lance.  Remember the stuff okay?" Maggie hurried out of the car.  Lance looked confused. "Mrs. Jacobs doesn't allow gusy in the house or usually the front year.  Bye Lance." explained Maggie.  Lance smiled at her and started up the car. "Bye Ms. Dawson." he said smiling at her.
Maggie walked into the house on cloud nine.  "What happened? I want to know every single detail." said Christina the second she say Maggie. "Nothing, he just drove me home." said Maggie blushing. "What did he do?" "Nothing, I just..." Christina appeared to be listening very carefully.
"I just need to get some sleep for the party tonight." said Maggie. "What party?" "The one at the CD store. Lance told me about it. He's giving me a make-over." Maggie slapped a hand over her mouth. "A make-over? My gosh what happened to you?" gasped Christina.
"I was joking. I just wanted to see how you woul react." lied Maggie. "For some odd reason I don't believe you." said Christina.
