Welcome To The Imperial Shipyards

Me cutting an air circulation hole into internal rib #3 of my 6' Star Destroyer model

You are visitor to my site since January 7, 2000

Hello and welcome to the future home of the Imperial Shipyards.

Current Projects:

My latest project involves the creation of an exact 6 foot replica of the original 8.5 foot model of the Imperial Star Destroyer built for The Empire Strikes Back. My model will contain three mount points, 6,500 neon lit fiber optic windows, two fully lit landing bays and seven lit engines.

At this point, I have cut out six of the model's interior wood ribs, and I'm finishing up drilling the air circulation and wiring holes in them. Next, I have to cut out square holes in these ribs so I can attach them to the interior aluminum suport structure. I have also completed the design for the model's upper and lower exterior battle armor. This armor will serve to define the model's main external wedge shape and it will be attached to the six already cut wood pieces. I will soon take this design to a metal shop to have the aluminum armor pieces laser cut and welded for me.
