Exar Kun was one of the earliest Sith. Exar Kun was tought the Jedi ways by his Jedi master Vodo-Siosk Baas on Dantooine. Kun was a very good Jedi, especially in his lightsaber skills, but he started to learn the ways of the Sith. This disturbed Baas to see such an excellent student go bad. Kun one day got in a fight with a classmate named Sylvar. Sylvar scared Kun with her claws before Kun could kill Sylvar Baas stoped him and challenged him to a duel with Baas just using his walking stick.. At first Baas was easially fighting him but then Kun cut his walking stick. Thinking he proved himself Kun went to Onderon to find the tomb of the evil Sith lord named Freedon Nadd. Kun went to Korribun to find more tombs. Kun had second thoughts so Nadd nearly killed him, before he did Nadd offered to save his life but Kun would have to turn to the dark side. Kun agreed and went with Nadd's spirit to Yavin 4 where Nadd had research to get a new body. On Yavin 4 Kun totally turned to the dark side and became the leader of the Massassi who were descendants of dark siders. Kun started to train students in the dark side. Kun's once Jedi teacher Baas tried to get Kun back to the light side Kun refused and killed Baas. A group of Jedi's went to Yavin 4 to stop Kun. One of Kun's students named Ulic Qel-Droma betrayed Kun and helped the Jedi to defeat Kun and the other Sith. Kun wasn't dead his spirit lived in the Yavin temple and many years later Luke Skywalker opened a Jedi Academy. Kun tempted Kyp, one of Luke's students, into joining the dark side. Kyp agreed and helped Kun separate Luke's spirit from his body. Lukes body was protected by the Jedi trainees.To destroy Kun for good the trainees put Lukes body in the chamber room. Soon Kun came in the room to destroy Lukes body but was ambushed by the Jedi trainees and Luke's and Baas's spirit who used their Jedi skills to destroy Kun for good. |
