Little is known about the smuggler known as Salla Zend. It is known that she worked alongside Han Solo for three years while they made the Kessel run in the Stenness System. Over time, Han and Salla became an item spending lots of time with each other. When Salla went on a smuggling mission she almost hit a neutron star in hyper space. Badly shaken by this she wanted to retire from smuggling with Han, but Han didn't want to give it up and left Salla.Following Han leaving her, Salla ended up at Nar Shaddaa working alongside her friend Shug Ninx as a welder, gun-runner, and a massive frieghter named the Starlight Intruder. Since her recent reunion with Han Solo and his wife, Princess Leia, Salla has become a reluctant fighter for the Rebellion, sacrificing her precious ship, the Starlight Intruder in a rescue mission to save Luke Skywalker, as well as saving the Rebels in their failed mission on Byss. It is unlikely Salla and Shug would stay long with the Rebel Aliance, but they still have an even harder mission to recover the Starlight Intruder from the Imperials. |
