Love blooms between a sexy, single Chicago cop (Jennifer Lopez) and the man who saves her life (Jim Caviezel). Both bring with them heavy baggage that they must learn to cope with if they ever want to make their relationship work. In these days when lighthearted romantic comedies are a dime a dozen, its nice to see a more realistic and adult look at relationships. There won't be any Oscars from this one, but its certainly a step up from J Lo's last film, The Wedding Planner. Both Lopez and Caviezel give very good performances, but its obvious that Caviezel has gotten himself type-cast as a melancholy drifter. Don't rush out to see it, but I give it a strong rental recommendation.
