BEDAZZLED

This is a remake of the 1967 film that starred Peter Cook and Dudley Moore...one of the funniest movies that I've ever seen. When the currect producers decided to redo the film, I'm sure that they thought that they had good reasons for doing so: two talented and charismatic stars, a good director, an updated story line, and elaborate sets and special effects. Unfortunately, it just doesn't click! Despite an excellent acting job by Brendan Fraser, and hot body work/fashion modelling by Elizabeth Hurley, this sweet well-intentioned little film is only occassionally funny, but much too often, just tiresome and boring.While waiting for the time to pass as your watching the film, you will probably ask yourself the question, "Why does Brendan Fraser keep making such mediocre films?"
