For those that love Adam Sandler movies (and I'm one of those people), this is just more of the same. Sandler plays a thirty-something loser with no aspirations in life who decides to try to raise a 5 year old child. In the beginning, I hated this movie. Sandler not only proves that he is worthless, but he corrupts the poor child also. Its all very funny, but I'm sure you won't be laughing if you're ever rollerblading and someone throws a stick in your path. BUT, before I get too preachy, let me also say that the movie does a 180 degree turnaround about halfway through as Sandler begins to grow up and we do see some real tender scenes between Sandler and the child. The court room scene at the end is completely asinine but the movie's ending is really the right ending. Overall, a very funny movie.
