If you were planning to stay away from this film, thinking that it might just be another bad chick-flick like "Someone Like Me," I'd suggest that you go with your instincts...you would be absolutely right. This Cinderella story about a fat, dumb cow, who can't ever say or do the right thing, is boring and unfunny from beginning to end. Several really fine actors (Renee Zellwegger, Colin Firth, Gemma Jones, and Hugh Grant) are completely wasted in this piece of garbage. As Bridget Jones says at one point in the film, "Don't you know that diaries are full of crap?" Well, so is this ridiculous film.
