Whether or not this is the result of the Latino tidal wave that€s sweeping the country, or the CAUSE of it, this is a film that must be seen. Wim Wenders has created a masterpiece in documentary form. Through music and interviews, we're drawn into the world of Cuban musicians in their 70's, 80's, and 90's, who play from the soul, the magnificent music of this forgotten island/country. The country is in ruins, but the music is haunting, rhythmic, and captivating music that reaches right through the skin to the heart. This CD is a MUST! Easily the best musical(and possibly film!) of this year, so far.
