LITTLE NICKY

As many of you may know, the films of Adam Sandler are targeted towards early adolescent males. Never was that more apparent than in his latest film, LITTLE NICKY, which reeks of the mundane, completely unintelligent and mildly offensive humor that you can also find in his previous films. So why have I enjoyed Sandler's previous films, but not this one? Its most definitely the level to which it is taken and the complete lack of anything redeeming whatsoever in this film. Sandler is the third son of Satan who has to go to Earth to stop his two brothers and reset the balance between good and evil. If there is anything intelligent in this film I think it was copied from DOGMA. Besides a few funny throw-backs to Sandler's previous films, there is no reason to see this movie (unless you're an early adolescent male).
