Well, first I need to say to all of you who told me this was going to be a terrible movie: you were right (But don't think that holds any weight going forward). Here is a movie with such a clever idea, but just falls flat on its face. When Champion City's superhero, Captain Amazing (Greg Kinnear) is captured by the evil Cassanova Frankenstein (Geoffrey Rush), a team of amateur superheroes (Ben Stiller, Hank Azaria, Jeanine Garafolo, William H. Macy) fight to save the city. What a waste of a great cast. The problem with this fim is that as clever as its humor is, most of it is only funny at first glance. Two hours of it becomes boring and monotonous. This would've been a really funny 10 minute skit on Saturday Night Live.
