PUPS

1999

A thirteen year old boy finds his mother's gun(!) in her closet, and taking it to school one day, he and his girlfriend stop off at the local bank to rob it. Although the film is badly written, amateurishly acted, and directed terribly, the theme...how two children with guns can bring the society of adults to a crashing halt...comes through loud and clear. How on earth was Burt Reynolds, (as the FBI inspector in charge of retaking the bank,) convinced to act in this mess?
